When I came across this I laughed and passed it over. I was talking with a friend of mine tonight and he asked me if I had ever heard that Obama had worked for or was associated with the CIA before he was a Senator. I recalled this and read it. Thought I'd post it here and see what my fellow ATSers think about it.

According to Dr. Manning, Obama (born in 1961) enrolled at the very pricey Occidental College in Los Angeles, California in 1979 and was recruited there in 1980 by the CIA which has made it a practice since its inception to recruit college students. He was, by his own admission, a “C” student, a dope smoker and a member of the Marxist Club at Occidental, a co-educational liberal arts college. In 1981, Obama allegedly transferred from Occidental to Columbia University. It is atypical for a student to begin their education in one four-year school and then transfer to another school. Columbia University requires that incoming students pass certain academic requirements which Obama apparently lacked. However, Columbia had a foreign student program and the CIA has major connections and influence with Columbia and the nation’s other educational facilities.

The CIA needed Muslims or others who were fluent in Farsi and who could easily blend into the Muslim environment in the Middle East. The CIA persuaded Columbia University to extend their foreign student program to Obama, now a Columbia student, so that he might travel to Pakistan and enroll in the universities around Karachi in addition to the Patrice Lumumba School in Moscow.1 The school, one of Russia’s most prestigious universities was founded on February 5, 1960 as The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR). It was renamed the Patrice Lumumba School on February 22, 1961. On February 5, 1992 the university re-adopted its former name. According to their web site, “The main aim was to give young people from Asia, Africa and Latin America, especially from poor families, an opportunity to get University education and to become highly qualified specialists. The students were admitted through non-governmental organizations, governmental establishments, and the USSR embassies and consulates.”

A few excerpts here:

“Columbia University will not divulge whether the “alleged” diploma issued was in the name of Barry Soetoro or Barack Hussein Obama. No public record exists regarding the diploma.”

“Interviewed professors, college employees, students (who were at Columbia during the years in question) have failed to turn up a single person that can remember Obama. This is irrefutable evidence. Think about your own situation if Obama had attended your college? A “now-famous” person went to your school? Many would be able to say, “Of course I remember.” At Columbia, not a single person has been able to say he or she remembers Obama.”

I suggest reading this before passing any judgement on it. It does ask some interesting questions and offers apparently factual answers as well.

Why do you think he bows down to Bush Sr. so much. Once CIA, always CIA. You have to remember that Obama & Chaney are 3rd cousins. It's all in the family.

He will never fire all the anti Tesla conspiracy agents that put up ufo
videos on youtube and give the rest jobs in de bunking them according
Project Blue Book.
But we knew that already.
What an immense payroll just to keep every one in the dark.

Cheney and Obama are not 3rd cousins

I'm fairly certain Obama's actually related to Lee Harvey Oswlad, and was involved in the JFK assassination while employed by the CIA.

There are at least two problems that I immediately found with the piece you quoted, one minor, one pretty major:

Did the author of this piece not attend college? Just wondering. It is very common for students to begin at one four-year school and then transfer to another. I knew many dozens at my college, and my entire school had only 1200 students. Goodness, Sarah Palin attended 5 colleges to get her 4 year undergraduate degree.

This has been debunked:

Obama's two Columbia roommates have gone on record in a number of publications talking about him.

Here's an article he wrote for the Columbia's Sundial magazine in 1983.

The article says that the CIA needed agents who can speak Farsi. Ok, if Obama spent time in Indonesia and Kenya, how would he be able to speak Farsi? I call BS.

Obama spent time also in Pakistan and Farsi as well as Dari is spoken there also. Perhaps that it is the reason it was mentioned.

A couple of room mates hardly proves anything as "debunked" unless you REALLY want to push your belief in propaganda. For all we know they were paid off or bribed.

Reality check = no way.

When did he go to CIA for training?

What did he do with that training?

In this case, X = 0!

I'd like to know also. Maybe we can write the professor and ask him these questions.

Why would he need to hide the "fact" that he is CIA?

It wouldn't entirely surprise me if he was CIA. He fits the profile of who they recruit to a tee. I went to a similar small liberal arts college as Occidental, but on the east coast. That kind of places is prime recruiting ground for the CIA. I've known people who have been approached and some who are currently considering joining up. And I have one acquaintance from school whom I've long suspected of being an active spook.

I think it would be strange to pull him out of college, though. That makes no sense. They tend to recruit while in college, but they want you to get your degree first. They want their agents to be educated.

My former boss, who went to Vassar, was recruited and actually went through CIA field agent training but quit towards the end because he decided he'd rather not risk his life and instead make big bucks as a lawyer. He wasn't ideological, so the idea of risking his life for his country seemed silly to him. He got into it because it seemed neat to be a spy, but as it got more serious and he got closer to actually graduating, he realized he didn't want it.

My mom also considered joining the NSA, but after one day at their offices where she took some sort of entrance exam, she decided it was too weird for her. She said that every 10 minutes, some some sort of alert would go off and people with guns were running through the hall ways by the testing room. She considered it might have been some weird psychological test they were doing on the applicants - whatever the case, it drove her away from that possible career path. She thought the place was a looney bin.

G Bush Sr. never hid the fact he was CIA chief so why should
Obama.
Right.

No, but he was ever coy about possibly having been a CIA operative going all the way back to when he was still a young man after WWII, and on until he started his political career. There's a lot of circumstantial evidence out there that he was doing things with or for the CIA going way back. It make sense, then, that later he'd be tapped to be its Director.

Why would they keep such early involvements in the CIA a secret? It's quite possible that whatever they were up to is still highly classified. Also, it's one thing for Bush to have got a political appointment as CIA director, but it's another if people find out he had actually been a spook, himself. It's the kind of thing that creeps a lot of people out.

There was a nonsense article connection the Bushes with Tesla on the net.
However there might be one after all.
There are also as you say and I have read other articles on the net
and in conscientious net videos on the Bushes activities perhaps in the
CIA, its formation and before.

If von Braun activities in America before WWII can be avoided public
scrutiny for sure the Bushes can. To the anti Tesla Conspiracy the possible
work of von Braun in New Mexico with the Rocket Society to improve
nozzle power design from Peter van Dresser and also Tesla pressure drive
coils bringing back to Germany is the uber spy award.

The CIA being formed after WWII in which many un divulged technologies
were advanced by Germany and now suspiciously thought to be
from Tesla.

Now from my perspective to get as close to as one can get to one the most
sought after technologies in the world would be of up most importance
of anyone looking for ultimate power in the world.

My former boss, who went to Carnegie Mellon, told me a similar story when I joked about my conspiratorial views. He too said he quit during training.

Of course being how I am, I became convinced that he was lying about the dropping out part.

RE: Obama - have the accusations of multiple and non-sequential social security numbers been debunked yet? If not, do the SS# anomalies bolster the CIA claim?
