Hmmm, I wonder what happened to the data? I think that I voted.

Obama sent 30,000 more troops into Afghanistan and didn't do much about the torture or troops in Iraq. And by the looks of it, he'll still support Israel when it comes to war with Iran.

Sorry, but nothing would've been different foreign policy wise if McCain was president.

Would McCain have sent more troops into Afghanistan? You damn right. Would he have kept and possibly sent more to Iraq? Absolutely.

There is a chance though he might've struck Iran before Israel. At least Our current president is keeping his distance. For now.

"Voted for McCain? We would be at war with Iran by now?"

It amuses me when people get into the political ,if you vote for him or her or this or that party .IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO YOU VOTE FOR ,it is not a conspiracy it is fact this country is run by wealthy bussinesmen .Everyone voted for OBama for change (LOL) it didnt matter who you voted for ,they put him in office so when we do go to war with Iran ,witch we will .People will take longer to become angry because hes our superstar celebrity president .Open your eyes people and see the truth or if it makes you feel better to keep the rainbow happy everythings fine glasses on so be it .I love my country ,it it breaks my heart everyday to see how its been twisted and its people tricked into believing that we have multiple political parties .WE DONT we have money and wealth and they will do whatever they feel they need to to keep it and power ...

Sick in the head eh, tens of thousands? If we continue to let Iran actively pursue Nuclear technology to hold over the heads of Israel, US and the rest of the world we will be facing deaths in the millions. Do you realize that or continue to see things the way the rest of the media views war. Really, are you sick in the head. I'll tell you what, step outside of your progressive peace loving box, read some history books about socialism and how those nations are bankrupt and then when your done with that explain to me why Mr. Obama sent Michelle home before visiting the middle east countries(Muslim). When you have an answer I will let you know if your right. Tens of thousands, yeah I am mad; mad at the machine we live in currently.

McBain is war nutter, in fact every one in his family history is a war nutter.
They all subscribe to the theory,we may have to blast them. That's the only
way to keep peace in the world.

McCain doesn't care who gets bombed as long as somebody gets bombed,
and that also includes Israel And that would upset the "Special" arrangement
the US has with Israel, so he probably would not be alive at the end of his term.

The United States has to stop policing the world. Ron Paul is correct when he says we need to pull all our troops back home. Why should we have to defend Israel, South Korea, and our allies? These countries can defend themselves!!! We are making more enemies by killing innocent civilians and the terrorists know it! The billions of dollars spent on the U.S. war machine and corporation welfare and bail-outs in this country will be our down fall. We need to start taking care of our own and start minding our own business. What gets me is conservatives will complain when our tax dollars are used to gives hand-outs to the poor in our country, but yet are gung-ho in spending an enormous amount of our tax dollars to defend other countries. The question is, "are we really defending our country or are we trying to spread democracy?" Are we not doing the same thing our government was telling us about the Soviet Union spreading communism? It's time we start taking care of ourselves!

What McCain said is that if we are not prepared to do anything, we have no business threatening that we are going to.

That to me, makes sense. Let's face it, if you can't back up threats with actions, you lose all credibility and the next time you threaten, nobody takes you seriously.

I can't believe you just trivialised the past 50 years of North Korean foreign policy like that.

Or Frances.

It's simply appalling. If you can't threaten action without backing it up NATO would become largely irrelevant. Many nations would lose their deterrent and the very fabric of world geopolitics would collapse.

NATO is over-rated and a by-product of the cold war. It's served it's purpose.
Geopolitics can kiss my ass

Just a fancy word for the big-nation CLUB that want's to see others either submit or be labelled a 'failed state'...

You're accusing an Anarchist of supporting Obama?

Really?

REALLY?

And you think Iran is ACTUALLY going to nuke someone? REALLY?

And you completely ignore the fact that Israel has had illegal nuclear weapons for years and years now, and has been the source of much of the disruption in the Middle East? REALLY?

And you completely ignore the fact that no nuclear weapons testing or research has been found to have taken place in Iran, and the only reason they're hiding their facilities is because Israel directly threatened to attack them?

REALLY?

Hilarious. Truly hilarious.

Obama bombed pakistan right out of the shoot. He's expanded the war on terror, and surged in Afgahnistan.

There isn't much of a difference here.

But I guess if you are satisfied with the two choices you were given, and voted for the one better sponsered by corporate bankers, then good for you! Thats what America is all about, choice........

You know...Consider this alternative. What will a nuclear Iran mean for us 5-20 years down the road? You have absolutely no idea how those people hate every breath we take here in America. How they hate the fact that we live in a free world with free speech on the internet, how we have computers, how we can post onto a site like this. What are they going to do with nuclear weapons?

Saying that if John McCain were elected President we would be at war with Iran is the same cheap political assumption as saying that if we had not spent our childrens future we would be in a depression.
Its stuff and nonsense...

And as for fighting a war on 3 fronts: For real? Are you really that daft?
It would be a 2 front war putting the squeeze into a 1 front war slamming the door.

Its not what I advocate but wake up and realize the geography and whats going on before spitting out some partian BS...

What a crappy thread.

I usually agree with you, but not this time. McCain said no mention of war, and to say that he was inferring war is a jump in my opinion.

What McCain said is that if we are not prepared to do anything, we have no business threatening that we are going to.

That to me, makes sense. Let's face it, if you can't back up threats with actions, you lose all credibility and the next time you threaten, nobody takes you seriously.

Further, McCain reiterated the deadline dates Obama set forth for Iran, none of which accomplished anything other than us moving the deadline date.

Now, perhaps McCain would have sent us to war with Iran, but that's not what he said in this video and making that jump is putting words into his mouth. Not saying it's the wrong conclusion to make, just saying that's not what he said.

where were you when at the end he says "it's about time we did(pull the trigger)"???

It's quite clear that he was talking about war. He used the analogy of not pointing a gun at a guy unless you were willing to pull the trigger. That sounds like that might be more of a threat than sanctions. He used the analogy and then follwed up with "I say we pull the trigger". When you point a gun at a man and "pull the trigger" he gets hurt real bad or even killed and it's a physical death, not a figurative one. Anyone with even half of a brain could tell what he was referring to. I am not saying that you don't have a brain, but I would suggest that you favor John McCain in some shape or form and just can't accept the truth. It's pretty clear what he was referring to. You, as well as most people in the world know, that politicians don't just come right out and say certain statements like "let's go to war with Iran" or "let's go kill some Iranians" they have always polished the statements so that they are easier for the public to swallow. There are keywords that they just will not use.
BTW does this clear anything up? Joke or not....it's his frame of thought.

Obama is a better puppet to have than McCain would have been. If nothing more his speeches are great to watch and fill you with warm fuzzy feelings (not joking his speeches make me feel great). However when your faced with the cold hard reality he is still a puppet and even if he is the better of the two choices it's still a problem.

According to my avatar, everyone is a puppet at some time or another

I unknowingly had a premonition of the 9/11 attacks 1 month to the hour prior on my birthday.

Then on Forest road 777 9/26/2007 I had a premonition of what America was in for if McCain was elected.

If there ever was a False Flag Nuke attack on America I would first look at him.

Peace will be GLOBAL

Interesting that you bring up this topic. I found this article today perusing the MSM:

Gates: U.S. lacks policy to curb Iran on nukes

We will have to wait and see how this turns out.

That was the only reason why I thought people should vote for Obama- to prevent a war with Iran.

Nice blackmail, huh?

Billions!!!

Actually it's closer to trillions, last year they spent $700 BILLION just
for 1 Year. it was a busy year blowing up civilians in Iraq. But over 10 years....
that's an obscene amount of money just to protect 10 Million Israelis,
because that's what it comes down to.
