GAZA (Reuters) - A Palestinian man was killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli soldiers near the Gaza Strip's border with the Jewish state, the Israeli army and Palestinian medical workers said Friday.

An army spokesman said soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian gunman who approached the border fence near Nahal Oz in the northern part of the enclave and threw a hand grenade at them.

Normally I wouldn't comment on a skirmish at the border as they happen from time to time, but with all that seems to be going on between Israel and other countries/groups, could this be one of the little sparks that add to the fire to set everything off?

Just earlier there were reports of Southern Lebanese removing as much of the barbed wire installed by Israel as they could. This seems to be an event that's been happening across the 'blue line' in recent days.

Seems like it's about to start....

Is this the spark that will start a big war? I don't know. This sort of thing seems to quite the rage for the last 60 years or so.

Meanwhile, there have been more people killed by thugs in the city of Cincinnati so far this year, than Israelis killed by terrorist bombs (find one of these), rocket attacks on carrot fields yada yada yada,
