This thread is a spin of from Skyfloating thread called The Lost and Hidden connection between Religions

The reason for this thread is to learn if there are more old texts, ancient scripture, myths and so on, that can be interpreted that God/s, angels, demons and or aliens.
Keep or kept us deliberately dumb.

Like the book of Enoch tells about the watchers. Among the things they were ac used of was that they teached us knowledge.

Now this thread is meant for you all to add information. If possible with a link and or a piece from the text you got to offer.

I have not studied all the available information and I don't know much about most religions and myth. But I read a lot only I almost never remember where I did and where I read it in.

So... I ask specifically for the parts of the stories that tell about the break which kept us out of the loop.

I'll start with my reply in the thread fro skyfloating. It is also the first text and is an example of what I mean to ask from you.

Important !
This thread is made to discuss our different opinions an speculate what the answer could be, on the texts and stories and myth regarding topic.

I'll start with the tower of Babel.

This is from The King James version from 1611.

11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,
whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name,
lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which
the children of men builded.

11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they
have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now
nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined
to do.
11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one an other's speech.

11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face
of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

That to me says God scattered us because we are no longer bound by anything that keeps us from achieving the unimaginable.

They say let us go down and stop them.

My question is why ? Why is it so obvious and clear we are not allowed to
After eating the forbidden fruit there is said.

3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of
us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand,
and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Man has become one of God ? He knows knowledge. What would a man do that lives forever ? He will eventualy gain enough knowledge to stand up to 'them'?

It looks to me that for a reason that is not known. Everything is done to prevent us from the unimaginable. To become a threat to them.

Well that's just where my thoughts go.

Member Undo thinks the tower was or housed a stargate.
You can read all about it here. Stargates are real.

I really recommend it ! It's a very interesting read.

Feel free to add and open a discussion . It’s what I’m looking for.

Greetings SK

The biblical god is considered to be omnipresent, which means he is everywhere at once. In the example you brought up with the Tower of Babel, God says, "Come, let us go down and confound their language..."

If he is omnipresent, isn't he already down there too? Why would he need to go down there if he is there already? It seems that maybe he is confined to a single location after all.

Yes. So it seems.

This is on it's own even, a contradiction with religious beliefs.
But why would they, He do such a thing ?

There is already a conversation going on here about the same thing, as the OP states.

Please post your thoughts there.
