Does anyone remember the name of the elite group the Navy or the USMC (can't remember which) was putting together like 6 months ago?

I remember seeing it online as news, it wasn't a really fancy name or anything and the number of participants were really exclusive, basically all former SEAL's, Spec Ops and Force Recon operatives...I think the name was like "Level 12" but that's why I posted to see if anyone knows the name, thanks.

Sorry i hae no idea what you are talking about, and it would seem no one else has either. Try googling, otherwise, sorry, we can't help.

I doubt they are called level 12, that is more than likely a simple code word designator.

it wasn't anything fancy at all and I'm almost positive it had a number in the name, I tried doing a google search but the results were just too big so I thought why not give it a shot to see if anyone knows, since it wasn't really top secret, I read about it online basically as current events.

It doesn't really fit the description but maybe you are reffering to Taskforce 121?

Well, here's something:

A senior American official involved in the hunt for Bin Laden said that al-Zawahiri may already be dead. According to his version of events, the Egyptian was in the escaping car and was shot by Taskforce 121, the shadowy rapid reaction force comprising special forces and CIA agents that had helped to capture Saddam Hussein last December.

With Saddam Hussein captured in Iraq, specialist units were transferred from the Middle East. They included the newly formed Taskforce 121, a top secret mixed group of Delta Force commandos, Navy Seals and CIA intelligence experts, which, under the leadership of the legendary Rear-Admiral Bill McRaven, America's top special forces expert, were expected to get results.

Seems highly possible Taskforce 121 is what you mean.
