Osama Bin Laden ordered a satellite TV dish to watch 9/11 attacks

Osama Bin Laden requested a satellite TV dish be installed in his Afghanistan hideaway so he could watch the September 11, 2001 terror attacks as they happened, according to his former bodyguard.

But the Al Qaeda leader was unable to get a signal in the mountainous terrain surrounding his base in Kandahar so couldn't watch the two hijacked planes hit the World Trade Center in New York, claimed Nasser Al Bahri.

This should add some fuel to the fire about who was behind the 911 attacks.

Why would his bodyguard makeup a story like this?

Why would Bin Laden have wanted to watch the TV that day?

The article quotes Bin Ladens former driver as saying "He asked for satellite TV to be able to follow that bombing"

Interesting to say the least.

The bodyguards name is Al Bahri and he served Bin Laden for three years before being arrested in Yemen.

I've seen his picture in news articles before.

I don't know if he is still in prison or if he has been released.

What I want to know is if he went with Dish Network or Direct TV?

Did he go for the dvr option so he can watch it over and over again?

Seriously, what does it matter if he tried to get a satellite? How does this help capture or prove that he is dead?

I'm more interested in what the body guard had to say that carried some substance. Not what his favorite cable show is.

Apparently he couldn't get a signal.

It's tough when your hideout doesn't get a proper satellite signal.

I guess it's a dead giveaway if you put a big dish right outside your cave.

Yes, It's not like they could bribe him with money or anything.

Also Is it just me who has noticed everynow and then an article is posted in the newspapers about Osama and about what he has done now.

IMO they are just trying to keep him fresh in our minds.

Personally i think he's long gone but that's just me.

When you don't have several of your wives with you, it can get lonely in a cave.

Fox news doesn't provide the kind of coverage he may have been looking for.

So the satellite guy could find Osama but nobody else can?
