I am pretty positive that this will go nowhere, but wanted to let the members know what the LaRouche group was up to now.

www.housatonictimes.com

An organizer for former independent presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche’s political action committee (PAC) set up a stand Monday near the Brookfield Post Office on Pocono Road and distributed literature to interested residents that called for the impeachment of President Barack Obama regarding “major violations against the Constitution.”

Standing by an “Impeach Obama” sign, Bob Wesser of Hackensack, N.J., said the president has been “eroding the powers of the Congress” through his use of an independent Medicare advisory board and the attempt to sign international treaties that would “destroy the sovereignty of the United States.”

He said the LaRouche PAC also objects to the health-care bill that the president signed March 23 and his “attempt to kill the manned space program.”

A news release from Mr. LaRouche’s PAC stated that former astronauts Scott Carpenter, Gene Cernan and Charlie Duke have written an open letter in opposition to Mr. Obama’s position.

This guy is a president behind the times.
If he thinks Obama was so bad. Where was he to impeach bush?

We know Bush committed treason when he outed Plame.
Tortured people in hidden jails.
Warrantless wiretaps.

Only congress can impeach a sitting US President.

His efforts would be better spent lobbying congress.

Tell me... why whenever there is a topic about Obama the first reply, and usually a great majority of ones to follow don't touch on the subject at all but instead make the same tired statement.

"Where were they when Bush was in office?"

The same fallacy used over and over and over and over and over again. Let us degrade from the actual topic by bringing up something completely irrelevant. The point is YOU HAVE NO IDEA where people were when Bush was in office.

In fact, I am willing to bet as is the case with me, that a GREAT MAJORITY of people who are against Obama and his presidency were ALSO against Bush and displaying it in major ways. Of course there will always be those who walk fine along the party lines, but when will people stop being so ignorant and realize that their logic on the matter is stupid and irrelevant?

As for staying on topic, LaRouche isn't going to accomplish anything and the case will be thrown out before it even begins. Thus is the beast of the system. Redress is given no heed and the people are given no voice. In a true people led society, the courts in the very least would hear the case against the President however, as seen in the past, we all know that it simply won't happen.

Just another example of ignorance towards the will of the people, even if it is a minority.

There have been groups trying to impeach Obama since the day Obama took office, and there will be groups going for this until the day he leaves...

Then whomever becomes president after him will have groups trying to impeach the new president, and so on and so on.

Posturing at best, mental illness with money at worse...it will go nowhere of course.

Here is the original article, dated Feb 3 from HERE

WHY OBAMA MUST BE IMPEACHED

By Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr.

February 3, 2010 (LPAC)— President Barack Obama's stated intention, to shut down and destroy the NASA program at its root, when added to the Hitler-like health-care policy, and the general, destructive features of all other leading Obama policies, is one step too far to bear. There is no longer room on this planet for a United States and a President Obama to occupy the same space.

The need for Obama's ouster, either by resignation or impeachment is now an existential issue for both our republic and the welfare of the planet generally.

Since the founding of our republic, the existence of our nation has depended upon surges of science-driven and related increases of the productive powers of labor, per capita, and per square kilometer of our territory. Now, especially since the reign of former President George W. Bush, Jr., and now that of Obama, the very means, of science and technology, by which the existence of our republic had formerly prospered, have been destroyed, step, by step, by step. Our industries have gone, the security of our food supplies has been undermined, and now the last bastion of the means of technological progress, the space program, is scheduled for obliteration.

Simply, the time has come, that President Obama must go, either by his own choice, or ours. The intention of our Federal Constitution demands this.

Basically, their argument (to sum up) is that Obama needs to be impeached because he retards scientific progress of America...and therefore is a mega danger to the progression of America.

Of course, the only issue about this is the sweeping support by SEA (Scientist and Engineers for America) and a endless listing of how much he has opened up America for scientific focus and achievement in the US compared to the former president and the 8 years of America's Dark Age (ADA)

So, good luck LaRouche...I am sure some suckers will fall for it and donate to your organization.

So, if the minority wants a president thrown out or forced to resign...it should be accepted?

ok...I demand our entire nation, all elected officals, to be tossed out now and replaced with monkeys!

by your standards, since I said it (the will of the people...albeit a minority..ok, 1 guy), it should be done in your system

-waits for our monkey government-

Yeah, THIS will have a big effect!

Isn't LaRouche still in jail? He's totally nuts and has less than zero credability and influence. His followers are zombies, nobody takes them seriously.
Please!

Could a monkey government do worse than what we have over the past 50 years? Other than Chiquita, Dole, Planters and few other companies dealing in tropical fruits and peanuts becoming nationalized and military spending going towards the better poo flinger (and thus causing the rest of the world to work hard to prevent a poo flinging gap) would things be really any worse?
