Tweets preserved for all time under Library of Congress deal

I saw this today on Daily Planet and found it very interesting. It seems that everything is being archived now. What do you guys think about this?

Billions of Twitter tweets, everything from urgent messages about the Haitian earthquake to Justin Bieber fans professing their love, are headed to the world's largest archive, the Library of Congress.

It would probably be a mistake to think that anything you create "digitally" isn't being saved somewhere somehow.

Think back to wiki leaks and all the text messages/pagers etc.

Thats really true, I try not to give out anything too personal over the computer or phones, person to person is such a better method. You don't have to worry about the government getting ahold of some text you sent or email and harrassing you for it.
