Humor is always an effective tactic in unlocking the mind.
I think Alex is realizing this more and more, and I for one think this is brilliantly done.

Let the flaming begin.

Peace

People are going to take that one remark he made, way out of context. The "Almost as funny as those dead Iraqi kids." comment, intentionally trying to shock the viewer.

Amateur bloggers and maybe even the media, are going to take that one quote and claim Alex Jones "meant it", or imply that he meant it.. and that's it, damage done. Don't have to revisit it once it's on prime-time TV. All the dumbass corn-munchers will carve into stone whatever the pundits say.

That has got to be the most lame and pointless thing I've ever seen on Youtube. Really, it seems to me that AJ was having really low blood sugar and his staffers made a video of it, and he didn't care because he's such a show-off. This sort of crap just dilutes his core message.

i understand that he uses the ipad to boost his show ratings, and i can think of this idea in 5 mins, but its still a good thing, and i love to see the ipad destroyed, all the fanatic fanboys crying. he is right, people should understand that technology is not important as fellow human.
you know how many nights i have wasted infront of the pc,instead of going out and having fun?

Aj does make some good points.

How many devices does the average American have?

Cell phone. (pic a flavor)
mp3 player (Zune, ipod, etc)
portable gaming device (sony PSP, nintendo DS/DS-I/DS lite etc)
laptop (pick a flavor)
GPS device / driving aid device. (tomtom, Garmin)
On-star... (not a bad thing imo, but the gps tracking is a bit scary in some aspects)

Then at home, we have the following typical items

tv / entertainment system
computer
gaming console

I mean, then add in super-devices.. Iphone, ipad, Blackberry, etc.

it's astounding to think of all the devices we have..
We are starting to loose our ability to find our way to a store.. we need gos.

Now think how distrought some people are when they loose their cell phone..

AJ makes a good point. a very good point.

What a waste of resources - and a waste of time. Im coming to the conclusion (being a brit and somewhat new to the guy) that Mr Jones needs either some anger therapy or a new agent.

Butchering an apple product is fun - but doesnt he promote his showas an I-Phone app? one that works on the I-pad too? Ohh and I know he has an I-phone as he talked about it on his show?

Thats what we call in the UK doing on your own doorstep - Im sure Apple will see and think about his app being in the I-store on the basis of this.

Maybe just maybe this guy either needs to think about logic - the machine is not the beast - its not made in america - tough get over it - its marketed by apple - tough you tout POD casts and the I-phone app on your show and website.

Sup with the devil by all means but don't get sanctimonious as a PR stunt. If you want to see apple products pulled apart go to a reputable computer journal.

The Ipad itself is a waste of resources. It's a consumer item being pushed and marketed virally by the MSM.

It's a trend it's a craze it's cheap tacky commercialism and the device basically does nothing new for a much higher price.

They can cover the Ipad 20 times a day with a full spread and 5 10 minute long videos but they can't dedicate a single 30 second soundbyte to most of our issues.

I don't like AJ much of the time but good on him for torturing this Ipad to death.

I think that during a time when people all over the world are struggling to pay their bills and can't afford to do anything other than survive rather than living a good life, that destroying a reasonably expensive piece of computer equipment just to prove a point (which let's face it wasn't done very well) is deplorable.

Alex Jones is a total nut-job and this video is just another example of him saying one thing and doing another. Or am I the only one who remembers him agreeing with Gerald Celente when he said that we should do everything that we can to limit the amount of technology we buy from China? Yet there he (Alex Jones) is with his iPads (and a replacement on order for the dead one) and his love of Apple computers…

Thanx for the post though, it’s reminded me why I stopped watching Mr Jones.

AJ is a drama queen. A useless creature..
Also, loves to make cash off 9|11. Sick. Sick indeed.

Eve on ATS the experiment is working.

You're all getting bent out of shape over a stupid iPad. Mission success for Alex Jones, apparently.

It's funny how he showed hes not actually crazy by acting.. crazy.

Was fun to watch. I could just imagine some of the people watching him the yard infront of their office.

"Honey, What's AJ doing this time?"
"Oh he's just smashing an iPad..."
"Why's he doing that?"
"Seems like he's saying it reminds him of Iraqi Children."
"Alright then.."

Oh please, it was truthful and just because the guy is a rear end doesn't change the message. Would you rather people watch "what what in the butt" instead?

Maybe its a good experiment ... I dont know

he should show this to a number of people and get their faces

I didnt get angry watching the torture, I found it funny ... its just a piece of computer

but I believe that we will need tech and I trully believe that some people believe mass extermination of the pop is something to consider

but they need to understand that these devices wont do anything by themsleves, its all made by people, people that create things to work on these devices, people that fix the device

its IMPOSSIBLE to create a software that doesnt have problems, a software will never be the final version, software is something in development and it needs people

at each year, these devices are entering our lives more and more, and thats why we will need more and more people to work in the software of all these machines and maintenance

so, maybe instead of killing, we need teaching

Hah!freakinlarious! mtv jack ass meets conspiracy.... He brought up a valid point in that people cringe seeing a ferrari sliced open with a chainsaw but don't bat an eyelash at some of the gory images coming to us from worse off places in the world. Or even in front of us physically. If you have ever lived in a major metropolis you know what I mean. That person either drunk or dead on the subway steps that everyone just walks around and pretends isn't there. No one calls for help, in fact they occasionally flit they're eyes in the direction of the person to make sure they AREN'T moving in which case they would consider said person to be a threat. I know you've seen this.

Jones made a very good point with his video. I can't believe people are not more outraged over American soldiers shooting at a vehicle with children in it and saying, "That is what they get for bringing their children into the middle of this." Just imagine if it was your country that was being occupied and that was your children being fired upon.

Shame shame shame

What intrigued me most about this video is that AJ made a comment about spirituality which I thought was both accurate and unusual for him.

It seems that many people here are reacting on a gut level rather than a contemplative level of looking beyond the illustrative method.

I think AJ is making an effort to reach people on different levels. Some will understand what he is trying to say and others will just look to find fault with his methods. He is becoming more multifaceted in his presentations.

I wonder who is coaching him?
