Massive fireball reported across midwestern sky

Authorities in several midwestern states Wednesday night with reports of a gigantic fireball lighting up the sky, the National Weather Service said.

The fireball was visible for about 15 minutes beginning about 10 p.m., said the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin, just west of Milwaukee.

Wow. What the heck was this thing? Does anyone here live in the midwest? The article says it was a meteorite but I'm not sure if I believe them.

It broke up into several pieces before disappearing and reports of a sonic boom were received. No meteorite parts have been found. Sounds like a UFO or group of UFOs to me.
