Hi all,

I am an avid watcher of everything Science and was amazed by the BBC Program Invisible world presented by Richard Hammond.

I recommend watching it at 480p...

You can watch it here in 720p HD - Though it cuts the fact that they have to be one mile away!!

I have very rarely been moved such as I was when watching this...

Simply Awe inspiring!!

Peace Out,

Korg.

That is a beautiful shockwave in slow motion. I've seen many shockwaves that only take a split second and I was always amazed at seeing how fast the shockwaves always were and how deadly they really are.

Nice post Korg Trinity.

Wow just Wow.

I like watching things blow up.

But probably you knew that already.

Here's an interesting video real time.

Enjoy

Then you will get a kick out of this 57 megaton bomb exploaded by the russians in 1961.

I wonder how far the camera was??

All the best,

Korg.

For all those who like shockwaves, enjoy:

Pay attention to the depression in the ocean water cased by pressure blast from the gun muzzle of of USS Iowa.

Outstanding stuff all of you. I always found it ironic just how beautiful the most deadly things can be - both manmade and in nature.

Here is a shockwave at full speed.

I wonder if it would be possible to create a shockwave without the bomb somehow. If its the shockwave that does the damage then maybe an acoustic bomb would be some serious munitions.

Peace out,

Korg.
