I just had a disturbing thought....

The issue here is the Claims about the Omega 3's Contained in Walnuts.

I can see it now! Fishing has been Banned due to its Unregulated Omega 3 content. The FDA has Ruled that Possession of fish will now be enforced by the DEA and DHS. This action has been applauded by out Fuhrer! ( joke )

Government Efficiency!

So if I become addicted to ATS (I probably am) therefore like any addictive substance, it's a drug.

Based upon this, the FDA can then regulate ATS and control it's content (especially the medical conspiracies section) under codex.

I simple do not trust the FDA as they are the mouthpeice for all Pharmacuetical companies whilc shutting out any new inventions or discoveried that would help humanity if they investigated it on equilibrium to how pharma patented drugs are treated.

If this happened then I would support what the FDA is trying to regulate.

Until that happens, I will actively go out and buy any natural product that the FDA disapproves of and also tell other people about it if it works.

I have tried MMS, and Hydrodgen peroxide with statling results.
DCA for cancer is another success story (google "dca cancer") one which never got off the ground due to the complete unhuman response of the FDA beast like grapple that perpetuates people's bad health.

F##K 'em! and watch this nugget of good will to all...

Love the FDA.....

As if a drug typically promotes real health these days.

"Psst, hey, got the shiz right here. Walnuts in a can. $500, but don't tell anyone who you bought it from."

If the FDA are saying that walnuts should be classified as drugs because they're being promoted for their health benefits, then all fresh fruit and vegetables should get the same classification.

Incorrect, fruit produce isnt 'marketed', mainly because it doesnt NEED to be marketed. If you see a store promoting apples as cancer cures and such, its THEIR fault and they're to blame. Diamond walnuts are a PRODUCT as they are factory produced, ie they do not occur in nature, have a lot of additives (as I understand) etc.

Thus, when you have the factory produced/modified product, it is not organic like everyone in this thread seems to believe (organic as in, just natural, I dont mean its not biological).

It is 'unethical' and I think illegal to market products as something they're not (proven to be) and you will see honey nut cheerios on tv say MAY help to lower cholesterol.

You dont see Chiquita on tv saying CURE YOUR PROBLEMS! Buy bananas!

I agree with them that in this case product is a drug, by definition.

Add:

Unfortunately, due to the lathargy of the sheeple in North America, it's highly unlikely that any sort of protest of the size needed for true changes to take place (ie a revolution) will ever take place.

And if you had it your way remove aspartame and such there would be revolt. People care about convenience and its soon as theyre inconvenienced that theyll act, who knows maybe even its not illegal to have aspartame because they know removing it would chain react a riot in this way? If it happens prices will go up (because companies will need to use more expensive alternative) and then your revolt will happen... for a different reason of course.

You can probably get better information from the actual Codex, than from sites writing about the Codex

That writeup was a comfortable one for me. How the Codex portrays itself aside, it is still the monster we describe. It won't present itself unfashionably from a governmental appeal, and it will make some attempt at a whitewash of it's edicts. The Codex it describes is a legal document, and expects no other disclosure. It is under worldwide media suppression! The big picture already takes account of the little details it is comprised of, and the link to fulfilling whole corporate agenda is evident.

The Codex is an international unification of agenda, a nwo-powered set-of-policies just as Obama's healthcare Bill and Bill C-6 in Canada are regional platforms being instituted to accomodate. They are well-planned meshing systems designed to link us to world government in a very significant way (crafted by insurance companies, pharaceutical interests, trade and consumer protections which favour big business, and a whole umbrella of elite interests we have yet to fathom).

It's also our link to knowing what we find will be a certain way, and we are therefore allowed our bias to investigate from. We are seeing the legal and institutional foundation and footings of nwo presenting themselves. By allowing these links to embed themselves - one expert system meshing with another, full of model analysis, solutions assessment, solutions analysis, application assessment and analysis; boasting connections to Federal governments, UN council, FDA, bankers, tri-lateral commissions and whatever!, it can only spell control.

By allowing it in place (not to say it was a matter of choice) we are becoming a compliant WHO country which bends to the rule of foreign interests, and accepting them at this level over-governs our constitutions on many points. Bill C-6 has eight such breaches, yet has been put through our Parliamant, and sits in the Senate awaiting either rubber stamp or else a review which will keep it until the next election.

The fact that they, our respective governments, have already agreed to sell us out, without so much as a referendum, on something so scalular as this motion is the basic premise that our rights as citizens have been violated. The magnitude of it all, the clashing as expert system meets expert system, is now what we face.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, our cultures continue their petty wars of mind-controlled Alpha-conditioned celebs perpetuating the "war of the sexes" with Beta-programmed females, becoming idols and conditioning, I mean, "endearing" themselves a place in hearts of controllable youth. Delta-controlled military-mindedness indoctrinates more societal threshing wheels with streams and flows of ultraviolence, and people laugh it all off because they are "de-sensitized" to it. It's always been acceptable to allow corporations to spread their agenda through commercialism, while socialist industry demands force societies status quo to all time lows, for the acceptability of their products and growth vision.

We are bombarded by their filters, asked to look into things that are meaningless and waste our time on frivolity, and now, to openly declare war on our health and freedom. Did you know that the new Codex via implementation will dis-allow 80% of current health supplements from being legally sold in Canada? The new standards for the supplements in question demand re-compliance by account of ingredients now re-classified as drugs, require proper testing by the FDA. This a process too costly for most who remain, the list being already sifted by big government who knows best about the medicinal nature of herbs and foodstuffs.

This is not in the best interests of anyones health. GMO crops which affect our DNA will have results not known for 20-30 years, but are allowed. Nano-technology is presently allowed on open market, but could be as bad as a pop because they can be produced Without FDA Approval - a hyper-professional organization that hides constantly behind "not enough study has taken place on that subject" and yet charges outrageous prices for testing (800,000 to test a drug by FDA compliance) while concientous and fully-trained researchers are willing to work for free.

www.natural-health-information-centre.com...

This particular subject of the pops being allowed in the Codex, appears to be recognition of already-existing chemicals so as to not brand a farmer because his soil had been sprayed at some point. The whole slippery slope behind that, is to allow corporations to add deadly chemicals within their factories, even legally though new additive compounds which I'm sure we'll see soon, and exist on the market with full FDA approval, in a WHO-compliant country. Nanotechnology isn't on the table. I guess they're "still looking into that".

So basicly all Dietary Supplments are Drugs ... Just like Codex wants.

Time to Oil the Ropes!

I'm just agreeing with this one situation where Diamond makes claims that walnuts have some kind of healing effect. This kind of misleading advertising is rampant. Perhaps the FDA needs to go about policing these kinds of claims in a different way rather than firing off a letter telling them that Walnuts are a drug. They are being marketed as though they have the effect of a drug by doing certain things. I am not saying I am pro-FDA, but these companies have got to stop making these ridiculous claims.

Please don't read into my response like that or make assumptions based on what you think I said.

So it doesn't matter what they put in the foods just so long as they don't make medicinal claims about it. So feel free to market poison as a by-product in our food just don't suggest it's good for anyone and the FDA will spend its time splitting hairs with admittedly healthy products - just not "as" healthy as they claim. got it!

That is EXACTLY what I was wondering.

How Aspartame (a.k.a. "AminoSweet") is allowed in so many products, is beyond me. It is a poison, yet it is allowed to be in the product because no one claims it's good for you, and who would, right? It's a poison.

You would think that if they put poison in food, that there should be, you know, a friggin' label or something warning you about it.

does this mean that I will have to go to the doctor and get a prescription before I make my brownies???

and...I don't care how "healthy" they claim the doritos are, I don't like them, ain't eating them....give me my walnuts back!! doritos don't cook well in my brownie mix!

this world has gotten so "advanced", so "complicated"....it is bordering on completely insane! lucky for me, there are plenty of walnut trees around!

Those damned kids and there constant walnut munching. Always going on walnut trips. I agree its ridiculous for something so unhealthy as Doritos to promote itself as 'heart healthy' but i can understand the claim of walnuts being promoted as a drug. If you advertise too many health benefits and claims of what it can do (regardless if it really can) then its no different then a drug. Im not agreeing with the definition i think thats idiotic. Walnuts are hardly a drug but the FDA is so corrupt its only a matter of time before EVERYTHING healthy is considered 'bad for you'

To the best of my knowledge, walnuts grow on trees. Diamond growers sell them in the shell, hardly made in a factory.
Sunkist growers market their oranges, at least the advertisements on tv tell me so. Those oranges are sold in their skins.
I think Dole and Del Monte spend an ample amount of money trying to sell bananas and pineapples which are sold in their skins.
