Where I live, in WA state, we just had a meteor event, on Wed nite.
Here, are a couple of great articles about some of the info on it, and some
other items lately discussed here at ATS.

Lot's of good stuff at both these links.
Maybe something is happening, maybe not, but I learned a LONG time ago,
in the Boy Scouts; "Be Prepared!"
And, in the Army, we always knew how to "survive".

I can see several meteorites on any given nite. It's not a rarity to see a close proximity fireball or bollide either.

June is a very active month for meteor showers.
