There's no doubt they have steadily been achieving their goals.
What chance is there of reversing all this? None,as far as I can tell.

The 10 PLANKS stated in the Communist Manifesto and some of their American counterparts are...

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Americans do these with actions such as the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management (Zoning laws are the first step to government property ownership)

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Americans know this as misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State "income" taxes. We call it "paying your fair share".

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Americans call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Americans call it government seizures, tax liens, Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who speak out or write against the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc...).

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver's licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Americans call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture… Thus read "controlled or subsidized" rather than "owned"… This is easily seen in these as well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Americans call it Minimum Wage and slave labor like dealing with our Most Favored Nation trade partner; i.e. Communist China. We see it in practice via the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two "income" family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920's, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
Americans call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136. These provide for forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, like in China.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
Americans are being taxed to support what we call 'public' schools, but are actually "government force-tax-funded schools " Even private schools are government regulated. The purpose is to train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based "Education" . These are used so that all children can be indoctrinated and inculcated with the government propaganda, like "majority rules", and "pay your fair share". WHERE are the words "fair share" in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26)?? NO WHERE is "fair share" even suggested !! The philosophical concept of "fair share" comes from the Communist maxim, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need! This concept is pure socialism. ... America was made the greatest society by its private initiative WORK ETHIC ... Teaching ourselves and others how to "fish" to be self sufficient and produce plenty of EXTRA commodities to if so desired could be shared with others who might be "needy"... Americans have always voluntarily been the MOST generous and charitable society on the planet.

Do changing words, change the end result? ... By using different words, is it all of a sudden OK to ignore or violate the provisions or intent of the Constitution of the united States of America?????

The people (politicians) who believe in the SOCIALISTIC and COMMUNISTIC concepts, especially those who pass more and more laws implementing these slavery ideas, are traitors to their oath of office and to the Constitution of the united States of America... KNOW YOUR ENEMY ...

None are more hopelessly enslaved, as those who falsely believe they are free....

And Anarchy is nothing more than Communism in disguise.... We have had arguments with so called "anarchists" and they were nothing but closet Communists....

I made a thread about an "Anarchist" movement, and the goals they have.... class warfare, a proletarian revolution, etc, etc.... nothing but COMMUNISM....

Anarchists don't eves know what it means...

And true anarchy is nothing but chaos... In Anarchy people can kill, murder, and steal if they want...after all it is pure freedom right?....

Some people, and it seems you are one of them, don't understand that with Freedom there are responsibilities.... Your freedom is not the only one that matters, but also the freedom of your neighbors, and everyone else... Whoever, when someone's freedom takes away the freedom of others, that is nothing more than a dictatorship of one...

IMO true Anarchists are selfish, selfrighteous, and utterly naive.

[edit on 13-4-2010 by ElectricUniverse]

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. You seem so threatened by Anarchism that you'll make asinine sh*t up about it.

YES Anarchism is left-leaning... so what?? The real revolution has always been on the left... this new bitching and moaning by the right is almost completely unfounded and practiced BY the status quo.

Anarchism is communism in disguise?? What are you even talking about... there are many different sub-systems of Anarchism, Anarcho-Communism is one of them, however, Anarchism is the ABSENCE of centralized government. You'd think right-wingers who "hate" government would love that, but they dont... too many right-wingers are paranoid hypocrites who don't actually think their beliefs through, they just go with their GUT on complex issues that require a BRAIN.

People can kill, murder, steal, rape, pillage and so on in our society just as well! And they do!! Not to even mention the much more amplified systemic and "acceptable" forms of murder, oppression, theft, and the like. Since the advent of nation-states, humans have become FAR more ruthless, greedy, destructive, and violent because the temptations have skyrocketed as compared to Anarchistic/non-hierarchical bands/tribes.

And what the HELL is wrong with a proletarian revolution?? The proletariat is the POOR WORKING CLASS (i.e. the vast MAJORITY of people on this planet) who gets stepped on by the rich/"bourgeois" elites, constantly appeased and lied to that someday they can become rich too, but they wont, they're merely modern slaves. If the majority of people became rich and stopped participating in underclass wage-slavery, the entire system would collapse; the system THRIVES on a poor underclass, it needs it, and that's unacceptable to anybody who desires freedom, sanity, and a life well-spent. If the "proletariat" is not your ally, and liberating people is not your goal, then you can take your hollow desire for freedom/prosperity and shove it.

Anarchists embody some of the LEAST selfish, self-righteous, and naive beliefs known to man. We call for the eventual dismantling of oppressive structures that cause the death and suffering of humans and other species, we call for EQUALITY amongst race/gender/age/etc., many of us call for a localized, cooperative, and egalitarian way of life... there is NOTHING selfish/naive about those ideals, it's the exact opposite of selfish. You either want freedom and trust it, or you don't, can't have it both ways, pal. What's truly dangerous in this world is power, wealth, and the desperation that results from denying both to the majority of humans. Anarchism is the only sensible long-term solution in a cacophony of failed "-isms". It's like Capitalism, Fascism, Communism, Democratic/Republican government, Socialism, Monarchy, Plutocracy are all religions arguing over whose god is right, killing each other over whose god wins. Anarchism is similar to Atheism in that it says "You're probably all wrong, you've all betrayed your core ideals, I'm not playing your pointless games, I'm going to move beyond them to something that makes ultimate sense."

I suggest you stop spitting your baseless doublespeak; either do your homework or shut your mouth.

Obama Declares War on Conservative Talk Radio

Barack Obama sought to silence his critics during his 2008 campaign. Now, with the ink barely dry on this November's ballots, Obama has begun a war against conservative talk radio.

Obama is on record as saying he does not plan an exhumation of the now-dead "Fairness Doctrine". Instead, Obama's attack on free speech will be far less understood by the general public and accordingly, far more dangerous.

The late community organizer Saul Alinsky taught his followers to strike hard from an unexpected direction, an approach known as Alinsky jujitsu.

On September 20, 2007, Obama submitted a pro-localism written statement to an FCC hearing held at the Chicago headquarters of Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.'s Operation Push.

Furthermore, the Obama transition team knows all about the potential of localism as a means of silencing conservative dissent. The head of the Obama transition team is John Podesta, President and CEO of the Center for American Progress.

In 2007, the Center for American Progress issued a report, The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio. This report complained that there was too much conservative talk on the radio because of "the absence of localism in American radio markets" and urged the FCC to "[e]nsure greater local accountability over radio licensing.

Wow... you really haven't been reading much about the news.... Not too long ago some "Obma suporters" attacked a black person who was making questions the "Obama sup[orters didn't like...

BTW, in case you didn't know there are black Conservatives, as well as Black Republicans...

Republicanism has NOTHING to do with race.... People of all races, religions, and levels of education are conservatives, or, and Republicans.

There is a strong case...but the LIBERAL media, as well as the Obama administration has been labeling the "tea party movement" as "white racists, blah, blah, blah'... look at you...even you believe these lies....

BTW, I am hispanic....and like me there are millions of hispanics, mostly from Cuba, who don't like "Progressives" and "Liberals" because your ideas, and what you want to implement is very similar to what the Communists did to Cuba...

They are exercising their right to bear arms.... In the state where I live, Wyoming, many people go out with their weapons shown and NOONE feels intimidated....

The intimidation is nothing more than the indoctrination that "Liberalism" and "socialism" has done to people like you...with the help of the Liberal, Socialist/Communist media....

I have read the Constitution many times and agree with it 100%. I also support states rights and let them handle local issues such as education, drugs, and much else. We are a Republic and I am glad you noticed that.

You have? really?... Where does it say that "Socialist Programs" can be implemented in the Republic?

You do know that Socialism oposes individualism for the whole?... and under Socialism/Communism the right of the individual can be taken away "for the whole"?.... the ironic part is that once "individual freedoms" are taken away the freedoms of the WHOLE are taken away as well...because the "WHOLE" consists of INDIVIDUALS....

You saw the part about "every state must GUARANTEE a REPUBLICAN form of government"?.... Where does "Progressivism" of "Socialism/Communism" have any place in the Republic of the United States?.....

Where does it say that people are entitled to "free healthcare"?... or "free anything"?....

You claim you have read it, and agree with it 100% yet you support a President who is implementing unConstitutional laws, and programs... and one who is a "Progressive", and like ALL "Progressives" wants to implement SOCIALIST programs...

BTW, you do know that "Socialized ehaltcare" aka "Universal healthcare" is a SOCIALIST program right?...

Do you know how The SOCIALIST/Communist states that give "free education" and "free healthcare" pay for it?... They have FORCED Community Service, and it starts FORCING children from as early as 11 and 12 years old to work for FREE for the state....

Kids in those countries, like Cuba, are taken to work camps where they harvest vegetables, tobacco, sugar, and other materials which they can never use....

Most of what they harvest is sold, or send to other countries to "spread the permanent revolution"....

If you are a Progressive, or a Liberal sorry to say you are in the left in politics. You seem to be a bit confused.

BTW, it was "PROGRESSIVES" that put us in the mess we are in...

Woodrow Wilson signed, and implemented the "Federal Reserve Act" giving all the power of the economy to the rich elites... and it was him that implemented the current IRS system among other things....

People who do not like Obama's policies, who fear COMMUNISM, who fear a ONe WOlrd Government, as well as returning veterans, and those who want to defend the Second Amendment, and or the Constitution are seen as "POSSIBLE TERRORISTS".....

Obama has stated that he wants to implement, and make it LEGAL to permanently detain anyone even if they haven't committed any crime...but because of what they think that they COULD sometime in the future become terrorists.....hence they could be detain permanently....

If you add things up you will see where we are, and where we are heading thanks to another Progressive.....

Sorry, there were no links in OP. Just a long list of grievances without data. This is just another pro revolution circle-jerk rant thread. Congratulations America, you are conducting what might be the laziest "revolution" of all time... all talk and no game being cultivated by coach potatoes soaking up what the media tells them.

The rhetoric that is being spewed is directly correlated with our the ever declining test scores in the US, I suspect.

People talk about getting back to the constitution... Well, maybe we should stop and consider if the document itself is antiqued. We live in a very different society than that of the late 1700's. Some parts are useful and apply to us, others need to be spelled out to protect rights.

It sounds like your favorite form of government is corporate anarchy. After all, thats what you get when the government ignores the laws. Is that really okay with you? Because to me I have a serious problem with a government that not only doesn't follow the rules it sets for others but does not even follow the rules it sets for itself.

Where are you getting corporate anarchy from? The Constitution doesn't matter now if no one is following the rules as you state. I'm sorry, a document is not infallible. Sitting there talking about it isn't going to make anyone follow it. It doesn't address any of the new forms of technology that have arisen in the last 100 years. Where do people get this idea that if you think the constitution might be a bit outdated you want corporate rule and enforced child rape or something? It's just stupid.

I wont deny a change is blowing in the wind, but then there is always "some" change happening, all the time.
The argument for calling it revolution though, constantly brings out the "Position" based opinion and stance and never seems to allow a "Needs" based dialogue to occur.
There in lies the dog always chasing its tail and the masses raising torches yelling at the people putting flowers into muzzles yelling back.
A confused equally oppossed to the other, gathering of groups, dazed and involved with assigning labels to eachother, while the issues and needs never receive address.
This continues on and all the while, those in the positions of power simply do what they want to do,
without input, without any over sight, and without any worry of a united population to answer to.
The chaos and swirl that they most certainly view from the citizens,
requires they do nothing new.
It's entertainment to TPTB,
to watch the beauty of distraction, the confusion of the ignorant,
as they follow the illusions and the smoke and mirrors.
There seems to be this wait and anticipation for a unifying event to occur when the majority shares the same mind,
the same position, but that will never happen.
It wont be until the recognition of the majority sharing the same needs,
which is already in place, will this swirling vortex of negotiating hell cease.
When it becomes needs based, that will be the day,
and it seems that day will be accelerated.

Even ignoring the present anger that exists across society as a whole.. there is no new tech or new industries to create enough new jobs that can swell the workforce enough to spread the pain of the new taxes when they hit..

You are incorrect about the several aspects you mention in the quote above. Giggle and guffaw and call me a tin-foil head if you wish. I am used to be called crazy by the uninformed.

If you will bother to Google for black triangles, triangles, or triangle UFOs, you will find hundreds of leads to actual sightings of these most mysterious craft. I and about 20 others witnessed one of these craft back in 1998. They have been seen increasingly since the mid70s. One Kentucky family witnesses a flight of eleven over ten years ago. These craft are either our own or alien machines. Take your pick. Actually, I suspect they are our reversed-engineered craft from retrieved UFOs. These things are fast and silent. They can hover and make virtually instantaneous starts, stops and right-angle turns.

These machines out-class the invention of the wheel in their capabilities and utility, and WE are building them NOW!

The world could be revolutionalized overnight in half a dozen ways if these were mass produced for commercial purposes instead of being top-secret military hardware.

I'll cite only two examples to help the common folk if these craft were brought to market. Airports as we know them would disappear. Forget the mile-long runways. They could be greatly reduced in size similar to 'copter pads, and the work and effort of re-utilzing those areas would be of much benefit to the local areas from the lowly de-construction worker to the new businesses that will fill the spaces. The other would be the incredible ease of worldwide travel via speeds many times faster than that of the concorde at probably a fraction of today's costs.

These craft are our (US) ace in the hole. Unfortunately, they are a military product at present and probably being saved to win any major war that seems more and more likely to be looming.

Hopefully, some that read this will go to Google and discover that the triangles are real and they will come to understand that we need them out in the open, not for just us, the US, but for the whole world.
