According to my PC, i have a 100.00 Mbps internet connection. But, i only download at around 56kbps. So i was wondering why i dont download at 100.00 mbps.
I have a
VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter. And nothing else i am using is using my internet. Only my PC. If any one can help me out here, ty.

the 100.mbp/s is the speed of which the information is getting from your modem or router to your computer. not the actual speed of your connection.

who is your provider?

Took the speed test, those are the terrible results.
And i think my provider is AT&T. Not sure tho.

I dont think im using dial-up. It doesnt make that anoying noise when i connect to internet.

I was on Windstream DSL for a year and they were charging me for 3 megs when I was only getting a 1.5 megs. They gave me a discount for a year.
