Music is powerful because it reminds of us the primordial note of creation that causes us all to vibrate.

Yes the primordial note

Back to Earth now, I just hope that, even in the event that my beliefs are complete crap, we can still strive to come together - to realize that the individual is a small part of the whole, and to act accordingly.

That was an awesome post DeltaChaos. I seen exactly what you were describing and it kind of made sense to me. Like one giant piece of matter that was broken up into atoms and then those atoms took on different properties but still 'remembered' that they were all one at one time. Awesome.

Imagine if we had the resources and time to explore different lands and cultures and if those cultures were just as equipped to visit us. We had no fear or prejudices and even if we couldn't communicate verbally we all knew that we were all just friends. Seeking knowledge and learning and having fun.

Well, I could dream can't I? I know there are immigration laws and visas and inoculations and the ever loving dollar must be made before we go anywhere. You can't make the ever loving dollar without putting all your time somewhere first that will make you sick. So when you may have just enough to do something like this, your just not up to it because you've worked yourself to death.

I'm sure this isn't how it was meant to be.

That perfect note, should you just sigh it accidentally will in fact connect you with the Universal Stream and the Astral Plane.

This is by the way, probably not the place; anyone wants to arrive at by accident!

Though some do, the truth is music sooths the savage beast, but more importantly it can silence the internal and eternal chaos and conflict between the competing hemispheres of our brain, and allow us to connect with our higher selves and soul, and the universe.

So much of the rage and fear and emotional conflict is designed to keep us internally and eternally divided, and to create the noise that keeps us from ever hearing the true things many of us long to hear so deeply, we search in vein outwardly for them, never even thinking to search inwardly for them.

Understanding the science of the atom and molecules and how they are in essence held together by vibration, and how we ourselves are vibratory entities, and that music too creates resonating vibrancy can be a path for some, to discovering their higher selves and more about the universe.

In order to evolve another soul you will have to evolve your self, which require bypassing the negative constructs society has as of now, and then you can endeavor to evolve others. So I doubt it's a lack of love and compassion.

Additionally, it's lesser souls defectiveness, common lesser souls do not posses the ear to listen and the eyes to see,

That would be, physician heal thyself.

It is a personal journey.

I'll try to add something on topic to the thread, on the idea of a New Faith, Philosophy or Ideology.

I'll even include some ideas from my writings.

In the story I mentioned there are two very powerful ideas that pervade the story. The first is Pax Americana from the title. The idea here is that the US sets up a power structure that will eliminate the threat of global war. The second pervading idea is Manifest Destiny. The concept here is that some people see the US as being guided by Providence to Pax Americana. Providence itself, is seen essentially as a divine force. Some interpret it as the Abrahamic deity, but others don't. In this sense, Pax Americana, doesn't become a "Christian" destiny. It has its own unique identity. In a sense one could say it becomes the focal point of the birth of a new religion and ideology.

At the same time, the beliefs are not really new. Its origins lay in ancient Greece with Plato. It could be said to be the birth of a new Platonic Order. Providence basically becomes the "Form of the Good" from Plato's Republic.

Now the question is, "could this happen?" How could the world retreat from its current Aristotlian influences of empricism and analysis?

All it would take would be a breakdown in global society. Fear and uncertainty from societal collapse and doubt that would emerge in the old ways. In face of collapse, people would lose faith the current systems. This includes everything from political systems, financial systems, organized religion, and even science.

They would be viewed as failures.

Humans are creatures that seek out social order. That which brings order, restores order and spreads order soon gains the faith of the people. It presents an idea for the people to unite around. An idea that drives and motivates them to do their best.

This new order would give people a meaning in their lives they never had. They would of lost faith in the scholars and academics. They would see things that men from the old order would call coincidences and accidents, but to those of the new order, these are signs and miracles.

The massive information network that we currently call the world wide web, would make these new beliefs spread like a pandemic. The old order would be swept away and looked at as a source of chaos and misery. The Hand of Providence would be seen in all things. Its Eye would watch and see all.

This death of an old order after a collapse can be seen throughout human history. The difference with us is that information will be global and universal. It will be a worldwide phenomena and in the end humanity will be connected (through electronics) in ways that we can currently only imagine.

A new religion, spirituality, philosophy must be suitable for those who are spiritually inclined to the concept of self transcendence AND for those who are NOT,who make up the other 99 percent of the population.

The way I see it life is a spiritual journey, some just don't know they are on it, or they are not aware until they pass back into consciousness, that is this life is the illusion and whether you know it or not you are learning the lesson.

That was rambling, I'm tired, sorry.

So in essence the birth of a true collective concious which in many ways is already happening with the Internet?

once you know spanish, the rest of the european base languages, are pretty easy to figure out. germanic languages are a bit harder. russian is off the charts, right along with the central african and tribal languages of australia. chinese, japanese, korean, and so on, ya really need to know chinese to decipher them. ancient egyptian is not as hard once you know hebrew, as they both were primarily consonants, but that's only after it has been transliterated from the hieroglyphics. sumerian is very much like hebrew and egyptian. the rest of the mesopotamian languages are branches off of akkadian. so just learn spanish, chinese, hebrew, akkadian and you'll be able to somewhat decipher every language, old and new. EXCEPT for russian and this

Yes but if I learned Spanish I couldn't constantly feign helplessness here in Miami where I live.

It's absolutely crucial, beautiful Latino waitresses and counter personnel spend extra time lingering to help overcome the language barrier!

Oh the things I find simple pleasure in, in life!

Thanks for sharing that.

Something along the lines of collective conscious or global noosphere, yes.

Unlike the borg though, we won't be drones.

We won't be like the members of a bee hive or ant colony.

Instead, we will be like the cells that compose the body of a being unlike anything the world has ever seen. Each of us contributing in our own individual way to the greater reality. We will be It, but It will also be Us.

No one will be forced to assimilate, but on the other hand if they are not one with It, they will be unable to be It. This means the entire global noosphere of media, data, trade, work, communications, entertainment etc. will be unavailable for them. Life will be very hard to live without "It".

A small tropical Island, a few tanned lovely ladies in grass skirts, a communal fire at night, and fresh meat roasting over it with some home made coconut rum and I think, I might be able to suffer on without it!

In fact I know I can!

It is a progressive vision of the future though, and hopefully a much more peaceful one you are envisioning there.

Thanks for sharing it!

it's more a philisophy or psychology than a religion........

honestly though- this thread is masturbation-
there already is a new world religion prepared by the UN and Alice Bailey.

Hate to break this to you, but you do know that Theosophy draws largely from Buddhism? Or rather, it assimilates the esoteric teachings with the teachings from most mainstream religions (and many less known). In its core, it's occultism.

This stuff has always been there, in one form or another, to those who wish to understand it. And it was never forced on anyone, rather the opposite (as the term "occultism" might suggest). Theosophy are things teachings collected and thought over, and form the "core" of the divine knowledge spread throughout the times.

It's not some crazy, satan worshiping mumbo jumbo.

But yeah, we don't need another religion.

Ideally for you to stay true to yourself and try to go the whole distance being true to yourself.

If you can keep the person in the mirror as your best friend, and have respect for what you see there, you are winning the game!

Thanks for posting.

This is in essence how we all often end up allowing people to lie to us.

We know opinnion is being forced on us as fact, and often simply succumb to the pressure and means of how its being forced on us.

The real truth is something we all tend to recognize right off the bat at a gut instinct level.

If it feels wrong it probably is, if it sounds wrong, or too good to be true, it probably is.

It's good to be discerning.

Thanks for the kind words, and sharing your thoughts and feelings on the matter.

I once attended a week long experiential training seminar series. I think it was called 'Sunrise' or something like that. It was minimally effective.

Anyway, during one of the lectures, the leader guy told us all that every human being knew by instinct when someone was telling them a lie. He said we had an internal 'gong' that went off when someone tried to deceive us.

On this occasion (and many others), I challenged him. I told him I was not color blind, and asked him if I was lying. He said I was lying.

I think I confused him...
He wasn't very good at his job, in my opinion. Glad that thing was free.

I love this thread. This idea is what drives me to ATS.

I would also like to say I love my religion.I am an orthodox christian. Our priests can marry. Most of them enjoy a good drink and I've even enjoyed many a fine cigar with them.

They are the ONLY priests on earth with an unbroken laying of hands from Jesus' apostles.

That being said, I believe the bible is limited by the age in which it was written. I believe many of the rituals, protocols and relationship between the clergy and laity is also a function of the relatively ignorant state of humanity during the last ecumenical council 1,300 years ago.

My vision of the new religion is based on the idea that each person is on an individual quest to reach a state of enlightenment such that they have learned enough to be able to look God in the eye and exchange a knowing smile.

I believe it takes centuries and multiple lives to reach that state. I believe the single most important characteristic that distinguishes human beings from other living creatures is free will.

My utopia rewards individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others make good decisions towards spiritual growth.

People are free to do as they chose so long as they do no harm to others, leave no lasting impact on the biosphere and respect the freewill of others.

If some young soul wants to smoke weed and masturbate to gay porn all day, let him suffer the consequences of his own self judgement in between lives.

Modern technology can serve man by providing clean sources of renewable energy.

It can provide a means for a truly democratic and participatory government.

It can help us tap into the "God Center" to give each person a glimpse of the ecstacy that awaits us all when we look into the face of the Divine Creator who I choose to call God.

I believe there is Luciferian evil operating on the planet on a global scale that is very organized.

I believe they certainly know what is coming and their only fear is a global spiritual awakening of the averag person such that we realize each and every one of us is divine and created in the image of our Creator.

I believe each of us is endowed with the capacity for Christ-like miracles but we fell asleep many generations ago and that the Luciferians have kept us asleep anticipating the coming war between light and evil.

The evil ones have been convinced from the day tjey were cast down to earth that they would be able to corrupt more souls than not and turn us against one another in the given time.

The war is coming soon.

Love -zarp3333

So... sort of an open-source religion? Or more broadly/accurately- an open-source society which allows us all access to the same information (which is uncensored/unsuppressed and instead uniform in boundlessness rather than arbitrary filter)?

You nailed it. Keeping all possibilities on the table seems realistic and much more honest than the hallmark of most theistic & atheistic-beliefs which is resoundingly conclusive & unmoving; or the middle position, an apathetic, "I dunno!"

I like to think of the concept as "thought tasting." Sampling from a wide-variety of concepts and seeing how they mingle.

...Otherwise we rely upon the tops of the pyramids to direct us, and this usually opresses us (and the environment) and leads us astray, betraying both ourselves and our real communities.

Any ordered system that becomes pervasive is extremely difficult to unravel. It's why in the software industry modules are usually designed as isolated, orthogonal components. It's a natural progression for any society to go from monolithic to a "microkernel" design.

I've always thought it would be a fantastic resource to have free/open academies and wandering philosophers/teachers (as in ideals of the times of ancient Greece) where we could explore these things freely and in-person (similar to what we do on the internet). There would be no curriculum per se, and trust would be kept between teachers/pupils as to what directions educational explorations would go and what resources would be used and how long or short stints would last.

I bolded and underlined the section above because what you just described is likely the only way genuine spiritual work will ever be accomplished. When a teacher is forced to appeal to an individual, it becomes much more difficult to manipulate or lie to the person.

On the flip-side once the student is amongst a large group and the teacher is elevated in to a position of power, the student has less room to question.

I think there's a lesson to be learned here.

Honest spirituality is done on an individual level.

Respecting that, encouraging this sort of "felt presence" approach, is probably the best system we could hope for.
