Well I dunno - I think this could even be a bird now the way it moves - try downloading the HD version and use a good zoom proggy

Hey guys. I have tried for the past thirty minutes to try and upload something I found on the pic with no luck. It's tough to see, but if you follow the line from the right to left, not far into the journey you should see the outline on a diamond shape with the line running from one corner to the other. Just above and to the right is what appears to be a white tower. I say the because the object looks like a white rock on it's side, but the shadow is more like a tower.

moon pic circled

I am not sure if you can follow the link or not. I have always had trouble trying to embed photo's.

Here is a zoom of the right part.

the diamond shape is more a square shape.

I don't see the shadow of the tower. So it should be just a lying rock.

more lava tube ??? from lro image M116147428R

Alright, sorry for the grey circle on a grey landscape, but Microsoft Paint seems to think that every color I choose is grey. I hope this helps for you. Not to say it isn't a rock, I just wanted to let you see what I am seeing. Oh and I said diamond so that people weren't looking for a rotated square or rectangle...

Hi UFORacer56,

good observations.

I have no idea about the square origin.

The resolution is 1.8 m/pixel.
With a 0.5 m/pixel it will be better.

another original picture of the same area.

Hi,

a recent picture from the same area.

very beautiful landscape

LRO M181246198L

The bottom part is amazing by it's diversity, contrasts and shadows.

Not a flat moon part.
