Evangelical Christian D.A. Says Sex Education = Gaol

news.yahoo.com

Juneau County, Wisconsin D.A. Scott Southworth warned schools that teachering students about condoms or birth-control pills could face criminal charges, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, punishable by up to nine months gaol & $10,000 fine.

Southworth, a Christian evangelical, took issue with a law Gov. Jim Doyle signed requiring schools to teach sexual education.

Southworth says he's not trying to bolster his reputation for a potential run for higher office, his stance is popular with anti-abortion groups.

Sorry had to edit news quote to fit character allowance.

Just what we need more teenage pregnancies. Scott Southworth is a giant douche.

Why ant-abortion groups support him is ridiculous, because teenagers will have sex anyway, which will inevitably contribute to more abortions. Oh well I suppose they have to ensure there is a continuous supply so that they can have reason to keep whinging.

More from source

Audrey Jensen, whose 16-year-old daughter, Justina, is a sophomore at Mauston High School, said Southworth is trying to censor what students learn, usurping the role of parents. Children will have sex regardless, she said, and they need all the information they can get.

I don't know if it's censoring or controlling. Stupid Evangelical Christians pushing their faith onto others. Just keep your Jewish Cosmic Zombie to yourself.

Can we stop with the religion? In this day and age it isn't need and it's illogical for us to waste time discussing it any longer.

We don't need it to run our lives, we have empathy, compassion, love.

If you won't stop discussing it and further confusing the easily led and gullable then at least put it in a "CHRISTIAN" or "ORGANISED RELIGION" category for those who want to continue to fap.

something else on Christianity in general. doesnt the bible encourage the exploration of other religions for blind faith is not faith at all. it is up to the parent to teach their children what their faith is but it is still the childs right even in the eyes of their own religion to make their own decisions on their faith.
