Bob Chapman the International Forecaster goes in details about this new gold and Silver scandal

The Canadian Bank of Nova Scotia was selling gold certificates and ETFs way way more than the actual Physical gold and silver they have in their vaults , what will happen when the holders of these certificates start claiming their gold ????

There are now reports that Lenny Organ, the son of Harvey Organ (who recently testified at the CFTC gold and silver position limit hearings), was able to enter the vault of ScotiaMocatta (Canada's only bullion bank vault) and see that shockingly, it contained roughly 60,000 ounces of silver and gold that he estimated as being worth approximately $100 million. Considering that the Royal Mint of Canada sold over $1 billion worth of gold in 2008 alone and many purchasers choose the convenience of vault storage and a paper certificate over physical delivery, the amount of gold stored in the vault appeared by Lenny to be exceptionally low.

I am not surprised.

In fact, I expected them to be empty.

Just wait until you check all the other bank's vaults.

It's gonna be a real laugh.

hmm , several issues

the source does NOT claim the vaults are empty - just that in his opinion - they contain less than the ammont of gold secificates sold

ok - its his opnionon - what are his qualifications to make that statement ? he has NOT preformed a proper independant audit - just cast his opinion as fact

should the vualt contain enough gold to cover all gold certificates sold in canada ? well not nessercerally - he is vague about how much gold has actually been delivered to customers

also - the bank does not need to have enough gold to cover its gold certificates - IF they themselves ahave a gold certificate for a large quantify of gold held by a 3rd party - some people may question the ethics of this - but it is legal

Yeah, really great news and all but what the heck is it doing in the Area 51 forum? Why should we give you or your story any credibility if you can't even figure out which forum to post in?

Wait until somebody finds out they are just gold plated tungsten bars. Then we will really have a scandal.

I completely agree. I bet we Americans would get someone into ours and find it EMPTY and the area mopped clean.
