I work for an organization whose primary purpose is signal interception. I dabble in covert communications and general computer security research as
a hobby. I've an academic background in science, and have published peer-reviewed papers and given talks in several fields.
My pseudonym is the Arabic word for "nothing", and was the original name for the concept of 0 (zero). The word cipher derives from it.
