Americans! Are you ever going to revolt?

It's just not that simple. I myself have thought of ways to "revolt"

You know the whole

-Stop paying taxes and what not

But if i did that, id just get put into more crap that i cant afford...

I'd get sued, or taken to jail, just alot of stuff that a person does NOT want to deal with, just to go against the grain

But nooo you dont do anything, nothing at all, you just keep going to work, eating mc donalds and moaning at the world

Obviously it must not be that bad yet huh? I'm just kickin it. I can't complain that's for damn sure. Don't get me wrong, I see what's going
on as well as anybody. I am in no position to bitch right now though.
Oh and no SnF for you. I don't like antagonism.

A revolt?! Insurection from people that have no history or culture to share with their neighbors.

America, is so diverse people hate or dislike each other because they do not talk or look like them. A revolt..

Not to mention the government is aware of what they are about to do with the people with taxes and whatever else, they know our wages are falling and are reachingi into our pockets to make us poorer to take from our ways to see unbiased news and access to knowledge not in their control, which would make it harder to assemble and communicate.

Especially when they control the the tv airways as well.

I have said it before and will say it again, the Government does not fear the people of this Country. I see no Leader coming bringing the people together to revolt. Their would be so many brutus's it would be halirous, not to mention hif he was white he or she would be racist, if he was mexican, he would be illegal, if he was black he would be socialist..

We are already beaten.. Just watch tv and be a good citizen, As rome burns all around you outside.

We have elections to settle our differences. It is against the law to act seditiously. We have rules and fomenting revolution is illegal, messy and besides watching people fight in the streets is stuff for 3rd world nations and the evening news.

Watching the "Evil Empire" implode in the late 80's and 90's was pretty entertaining though, I'll give you that, but that was prophesy fulfilled. The shear weight of tyranny imposed by communist brutality was too much weight to bare for the Russian people. We haven't reached that kind of critical mass and I don't see it happening anytime soon either. We still wear the mantle of civilisation and revolution would screw with the NFL schedule too much for the people to take sitting down.

We vote the bastards out when they screw up and this current crop of economic iiliterates is going away in November. We will hide our money and slow our invetments and not grow businesses to avoid their fiscal insanity. I won't invest my sweat and treasure for these lunatics. I can't wait for the next election, it's going to be a spanking like hasn't been seen in years.

No matter how sophisticated the Europeans become as an economic force thay are destined to repeat their fratricide, just as they have done for millenium and we will sweep up the broken glass again because we feel sorry for our inbred relatives. The Russians will continue to play both ends against the middle and try to re-exert their domination in the Balkans and their former satelites. The Chinese will sweat out the winners and losers in meantime, but they have serious problems of their own keeping the lid on their fighting-aged male population.

I'm content to listen to people keep bashing us and as usual we will buckle down, suck it up and slug it out with who ever brings it on. It's an arrogant American thing, we love a good fight. In spite of Obama's attempt to emasculate us in front of the world some very dangerous men with guns, loyal to their oaths will continue to protect us and kill our enemies.

The founding fathers revolted and found the majority on their side, its good that it turned out that way, at least for the USA. So why aren't the US citizens revolting like that today? Because we only have consipiracy thories & individual citizen injustice done to us so far. When we aren't trying to just defend our own rights individually, and find the gov wrong in mass, as in millions of people, then the congress will be hauled out by a mob & any others with them to be held accountable. When millions uprise I'm sure all millitary effort, martial law, will happen. No one really wants that, so we live yet like a horse biting on the bit til the master wips us just a bit too hard.

It's a good point that was made. We are letting big brother walk all over us. I would definitely march on Washington, but a full blown revolution unfortunately would require some weapons. But hey it sounds like a blast.

If Americans really want to stage a revolt that will have real impact then collectively dump ALL cash, clean out your bank accounts, convert to gold and silver and eliminate businesses in favor of a barter and trade network. A citizen economy! No work, no federal taxes, NO MONEY!

Only a few million of us needed and this would destroy them.

The head of China has been urging 1.34 billion Chinese to buy gold and silver for a few months... Archies Coin in Edgebrook has reported Chinese here in the US have been coming in and buying a lot of metal lately...

I like things just the way they are. Might not be perfect, but it's sure as hell better than living in either of those 2 **** holes.

It is suggested that revolt will not happen anywhere in the world until certain hurdles are met. One such hurdle is when the average intake of food drops below 800 calories per day for the majority of the population. Another one is when tyranny becomes such a burden that all hope is squashed and daily life is a huge struggle.

I see none of this in America or anything even close to it. The majority still elects their officials here and some of you want the majority to revolt against their very own pick, and not just vote someone else new four years later. Also, who do we put in charge after this revolt? That that could easily mean we would go from the frying pan and into the fire. Let’s remove elected officials and put some dictator into place….geez.

Finally let’s come back down to earth. Many of you are thinking in the abstract (we are losing our freedoms! The country is in dept up to its ears etc) and not looking at what is directly affecting your life around you. So once again, the vast majority of Americans live damn well to the point that they are better off than 99.9% of the planet. I’m talking quality of life and not just some materialistic quantities. I have lived in France, Germany, Korea and Japan and spent time in over 75 other countries and I have yet to find one of them who can match quality of life that America provides. This doesn’t mean America is perfect for we do have 10 to 15% of our population that needs help, but if you want revolt look to India or China where the majority is extreme poverty.

The US is about 10th in the world for GDP per capita, with all the countries ahead of the US having very small populations and more importantly higher living cost in those countries. As example the US is 10th at about 46.6k and 4th is Switzerland at 66k, but cost of living is a big difference with Switzerland being the 3rd highest cost country in Europe and 15% higher than Washington DC (which is crazy expensive in America).

So who should revolt, the people with the best standard of living in the world? I don’t think so, but let’s look at a few other countries. America is 3rd in the world in population behind India and China, so let’s look at those two countries and Russia as a world power too. India has $1100 per capita and China is $3000, and in both of these countries the 100s of million that live in squalor is striking. Even mother Russia is only 9k and life is expensive there if you get anywhere near a major city. Even as low as China is there is still 100 countries lower. More importantly with 100s of these countries is once you get away from their major cities the quality of life drops off dramatically to the point in many areas we are talking dirt floors, public water pump, outhouse, little or no electrically, limited choice in foods, and even worse than all this.

Now go to any small town or county etc in America, and EVERYTHING available in our biggest cities is also there and cheaper……And that is the difference of what makes America the greatest place on earth to live in.

So I would say that pretty much the rest of the world has more to revolt over than America does, so maybe some of you should take your revolt ideas to push them to the countries that may actually need it.
