Ageless Poem

Another little something I've been keeping to myself for the longest time...

Ageless

I awoke this morning to realize,
That the winter had come,
Making me feel brutalized,
Thinking about what I have become.

Around me I found the pieces,
Of what was left,
Of the remnant places,
Still suffering from the theft.

But now,

Beside me I now see the light,
That burns inside my heart,
Leading the way through the long night,
Never doubt, it won't need a re-start.

Forever true I will be,
To you my love, my angel, my princess,
Because inside of me I can see,
The beautiful summer where we are forever ageless.
