Bible Code Oracle = Hoax-Ware (Independent Timeline Study Confirms)

BIBLE CODE ORACLE = HOAX WARE (Independent Time Line Study)

Some people play cards, others scrabble, and even more video games… I like to play Bible Code Oracle, or I did for a time, and I’m about to present my findings. But first wanted to say I’m not a crazy, nor a thumper, in fact my view of God is quite the contrary to most forms of religion. I did this, slowly, out of boredom over the past few months for fun and nothing more. During my studies, I think I’ve proved the Bible Code Oracle software to be bogus that is unless there really are people who travel through time and change the past. You see I couldn’t replicate my results, after compiling the data, I had deleted many of the years from the program. There was some additional data I wanted to collect but when I went to search the year a second time, it returned a completely different set of results. Secondly, there are some words others claim to find, but I can not with this software. So as this data appears to be complete random bull, I collected it, performed the analysis, and some may still find it fun and interesting.

TIME LINE - 1850AD to 2050AD

I began with searching the years, and had to add the AD after the year to shorten the programs search time, or I wouldn’t even be a quarter of the way through all this. So, I searched 1900AD, 1901AD, 1902AD, 1903AD, etc., and took the “Hits” or times found in the code and charted them out a few different ways. The graph below has the amount of “Hits” per “Year” with a 5 year moving average trend line.

This next graph is a control chart of “hits” per “decade” where “decade” is equal to 1=1850-1859, and so on… The red squares indicate years that are considered “out of control or a special cause”.

So, in the end, it was a small yet fun study. If I could repeat the same results, I may have given this more credit and further study, but since the program can not, it means the program’s search option has a random somewhere. I’m not calling the Bible Code to be a hoax itself, but the software I used surely is. That or I overloaded it with my library… who knows, but I’ve lost my interest. I’ll try and think of some thing else to put under analysis over the foraging season that I can work on over next winter, perhaps quake or solar data? Until then, have fun with the random-info from Bible Code Oracle, and Gods Bless! Oh, and sorry if some thing like this was already posted, I searched Bible Code and was bombarded with results, and didn’t see anything recent about such a study. Still haven’t read the bible in its entirety and have deleted the Bible Code Oracle software from my pc, so please no questions.

Nice work man, you really did your homework. The sad thing is that many people still believe in this pseudoscience.

It looks like you put a lot of effort into it but I still have no idea what "Bible Code Oracle" is or what it is supposed to do. Therefore I don't see the big deal is about having more hits on certain time periods as others. The phrase 2015AD never appears in the Bible... so there should be zero hits for that number. Clearly there is a lot here I don't get.

The Bible code (Hebrew: צפנים בתנ"ך‎), also known as the Torah code, is a series of messages alleged to exist within the Bible text, that when decoded form words and phrases supposedly demonstrating foreknowledge and prophecy. The study and results from this cipher have been popularized by the book The Bible Code.

Bible Code Oracle is supposed to find these hidden messages by searching the code, like a word search. The problem is, the program can't seem to provide consistent results, each time you search for a word, date, phrase, etc., the program provides results that do not agree with the initial results.

You really don't want to understand...and it's really just a way for software developers to make some cash.

I bet if I would have named this thread some thing like "Bible Code Predictions: One Man's Findings" it may have gotten more attention.
