Amen jib, my god one can never get out the message cause he is either a shill, troll, fatboy, etc, etc. who gives a rats fanny about the messenger, what is the message? is it hog wash, or lends some credence to this terrible predicament that we are in? christ feel like i need to become a teacher and tell the kiddies to put there dang thinking caps on? christ almighty! listen to the message people!

Then he is passed off to his grandparents and moved back to HI while his mom continues to search for a life without him.

From there he wanders through college searching for an identity that he never had. He hangs out with the fringe groups and Marxist professors trying to be cool. He was a prime target for indoctrination with an open and willing mind. He certainly found his identity and much more...

Pretty sad really. It seems that his grandparents were the only stable figures in his life. Fortunately, he had them to rely on. Clearly, his mother was not up to the task.

There are plenty of people out there who have had a tough childhood....that doesn't mean they can't overcome it.

If Beck spent as much time investigating Dick Armey's ties to terrorists in Iran...or how about investigating the "Two Santa Claus Theory".....or how about even a DEBATE?

Beck wants drastic tax cuts...drastic cuts in spending. This...he states...will bring the corporations back. Which will work...if we are willing to accept being a third world country. Oh...and we need to keep the war going as well...even though we can't afford it.

By all means increase taxes all you want. Beware! The value added tax will soon be coming your way. Govt. sponsored Social engineering isn't cheap you know. Tax the rich, penalize successful entrepreneurs, demonize wealth and all of those who worked their tails off to get it. Keep it up and see where they invest their money and move their businesses to.

Obama won't stop until there is an all out class war in this country. A war that will be crafted by his hands.

Increase tariffs so small business can grow and compete with international corporations. If we don't...that's all that will be left. There will be no more entrepreneurs...they won't have a chance.

Yes, Poor Obama and his trying childhood. Dad left then died, mother died, grandparents raised him.

Pity such a loss of potential, I guess he will have to simply deal with the fact his life will only amount to having a beautiful wife, two lovely daughters, the highest office in the land, arguably world, and worldwide love and acceptance.

yes as a replacement/alternative for other taxes.

Obama just wants another avenue to collect your change. The VAT will supplement any and all new taxes and fees created by this admin. Including higher taxes on investment income from a variety of sources.

Look out for higher utility bills also. Obama is now using the EPA to do his dirty work. New fees on carbon omissions are just a stepping stone away. Naturally, the utility companies won't eat the cost.

Obama will never touch tariffs. To do so would mean a financial attack on China and we are in no position to try to muscle them.

I agree that tariff increases would be a fine solution. But it is far to late in the game to do it. That should have started two administrations ago.

Wow, the corporations do a fantastic job of programming foot soldiers.

the people working their tails off are nowhere near rich...most money comes from money and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. This isn't 1820 where everyone is nearly on a level playing field...this is advanced capitalism where most of the resources are tied up in a few hands and the rest of the slaves cater to the few elites whom own the land...

short sightedness will be the true death of capitalism...I give it another 50 years unhinged at best before things truely do go downhill rapidly...nothing like a complete and total monopoly of all commerce in the hands of a few corporations straight across the board.

I don't support a VAT tax. This hurts small businesses....which surprises me that GB said he supported a 2 percent VAT. (he said this on O'Reilly's show months ago).

On tariffs though...I believe we can do it. Almost everything we buy is imported. It's nearly impossible to find anything that's made here anymore....so smack down with tariffs. Help offset the debt we owe to China...increase tax revenue and give small businesses more of a chance to compete with the big boys.

It won't happen though...international corporations hate tariffs. It's a tax they cannot avoid. Is this going to raise prices....yep...but prices will continue to rise with inflation because of our debt.

This is the only solution IMO. We also have to end the war. It's a necessity.

both parties are to blame for the predicament we are in with our trade polices and our economy. Reagonomics and Clintonomics have left this country on the verge of peril.

You're probably right. He did put a tariff on Chinese tires...but that's it...and even if he did decide to increase tariffs on a wider scale....both parties (Especially the GOP)would be screaming protectionism and isolationism.

I guess that really depends on what you think the meaning of rich is. I am not referring to the now notorious Wall Street bailout bunch. I am referring to the people that make this country actually run on a day to day basis.

Small business owners can certainly attain wealth and many choose not to spend it in a way that meets the standards of today's MTV Cribs audience. That's why they are successful to begin with.

Tell that to my neighbor who owns a very successful plumbing business. He is on 24 hour call 4 days a week snaking poop clogged drains at a moments notice. Tell that to the working rich who own their own businesses and pound the pavement every day to maintain their hard earned success. Especially, anyone who owns a restaurant or a contracting business in the skilled trades.

The old money crowd is still out there and they will pass their wealth on to a generation that will squander and abuse it until it is all gone.
