Just have to remove their monopoly. That is all we have to do. If I can accomplish just a little bit of that!

I don't know, bro. It would really all depend on if I were running or not.

A very good friend of mine (the one mentioned in my letter to Boehner) is working heavy on a campaign for a guy running for a Congressional seat in Tennessee. He has already said that as the potential Congressman gets closer to election, he is going to introduce me to him for some writing duties. (newsletter, website, etc) so that I can:

1) Meet and write for others as well
2) Get my name out into the inner circles

The point of those two points is to whip me into better fighting shape (as well as some better grooming/cash flow) for 2012.

The obvious question would be why me instead of the potential Congressman he is working with right now? He knows, even with me going in raw, I would be a far better candidate than what has been offered in the past for odds on winning and that my winning would be a far greater benefit to the country as a whole. He simply knows my innate ability to be able to speak with virtually anyone on a variety of topics (people skills) and the conviction to get done what I set out to do, that and in his own words "I am the luckiest butt-snot in the world." (Which are some pretty strong words from a guy educated as a minister/preacher)

Go End!

I say run for your local government. That is where you can have the most effective platform. If more people were involved in their local government, rather than whine and moan about their Federal government (not that it doesn't need to be done), the People would start to realize that they still have the power to effect and manipulate the political playground.

Ill write you in for Vice President, just behind Barry Goldwater.

After my 12 years of voting, I wonder if the local election official is wondering why someone is writing in a dead candidate.....

Yes but what is your policy on Lobbyists - SEE SO's threads? There seems to be a problem that makes some people enter politics with good intentions and then turn.

I've been a long time supporter of your stance endisnighe, and based on what I have seen you are truly sincere about your stance.

However, Obama seemed sincere too back in 07-08 when I was pulling for a big victory. Didn't turn out quite the way I had foreseen.

Nonetheless, if you ran on those ticket issues you listed, I would have no choice but to register and vote for you because anything to help this country would be fantastic. However, the funds involved show that even high profile celebrities have trouble affording a campaign. The politics involved show that it is difficult to even get past the primaries against the puppet the Democrats or Republicans choose as their golden boy at the given time. In the end, while you may make people think and get the vote from a tea party and independent standpoint, without a significant change in perspective by the people - you won't stand a chance.

Not your fault though. Thus is the corruption of this "Constitutional voting system" that so many people claim works. It truly is a shame but if by some stroke of luck you manage to get on a nationwide ticket, do let me know. I can guarantee one vote for the cause.

You have my vote EIN, just so long as you pick Ugie as your running mate. Seems to me you will need security, mind if I sign up?
I hope your serious and not just pulling my leg, if so you have your work cut out for you bud! Best of luck.

I'd vote for ya, End! That is, assuming you begin breaking the choke hold that the Iron Triangle (corporations K-Street and all the assorted left and right think-tanks) has over Washington. But I'm sure you would.

If you ever need a White House press secretary, give me a call!

I have to agree with you about the history of a politician. I think it is probably better to elect an ordinary hard working citizen than a corrupt know it all lawyer. And yes I guess I pretty much know your stance on the issues, not all issues but most. So even though I am a Progressive with a libertarian streak I would vote for you without any hesitation, you would be better than any of those fools because you are an outsider and a conspiracy theorist that cannot be bought.

Just leave a place in your cabinet for Progressives.

Misoir, I think you and ST would get along as long as you guys talked about freedom of your social life. You are both Libertarians in that regard. As for the difference in economic controls, I think Misoir would like the effect that I would destroy Monopolies and ST would like that I would relax regs on small business.

Wait a minute there!

I will darn sure break away from my base and strongly state that we need to deregulate small businesses. They are the most important part of our economy, not the government or corporations. We need to start exposing exactly what corporations are, EVIL, and restrict what government can do other than help with the general welfare of its citizens. The government has no place in regulating business that should be left up to councils inside the corporations made up of its workers and the government be the mediator not the regulator. We should abolish the minimum wage when it comes to small businesses too, there should only be a minimum wage for workers for corporations.

See I'm not some radical lefty, I told you I am a mix between Libertarian and Socialist. I like the Nordic model the best; no regulation, no minimum wage, and alot of welfare for not just the poor. The only thing I don't like is that the government employs almost half of the citizens and they have free trade.

I dont know about that I bet the first time I asked him to go to the shooting range he would throw a fit. We would always have to go to the stupid coffee houses and hang out.

What? I like guns, and I hate coffee. If more people had guns there would be less need for police. People could defend themselves. Criminals would be too scared to pull a gun in a store if they see people strapped with pistols.
The second amendment is part of the constitution and there is no greater establishment of freedom than the constitution.

Sorry to break it to you, Misor, but you're not a Progressive, or a Socialist in the modern sense of the word, in the least!

You're a social libertarian.

I would definitely vote for you End, though I might regret it when (not if) TPTB try to take you out if you turn into a real viable candidate.

If you decide to run, get a bulletproof vest and lots of security. I suggest you buy all your cloths from This site if you really plan to run.

Let me give you a tip on how you can win for sure.
Change your name to "Noneof D. Above"

Simple answer: no.

If only it were so easy as to say 'i'll tell them they can arrest me if i lie'. If only it were so easy as to simply say what you are feeling. Truth be told, those two stances would not allow you to move beyond even the most preliminary thought of running.

I guess i have to wonder WHY people would want a president that said exactly what he was feeling. A president is there to make logical, informed decisions, not to act out of emotion.

And that is not even scratching the surface on the fact that we can sit and whine all day about whichever person is holding the title right now. It will get us nowehre. The issue starts with the system, not the people in it.

Immigration-amnesty allowed as long as future immigration is limited.

No Friend! NO!!!

No more amnesties.!!!

Illegal aliens do not respect the law and their spawn are even worse since the have the same lack of respect for the law and an unbelievable sense of entitlement.

Send em all back and start over.

I think the illgal mothers should be sent to the Mexican* embassy to give birth so the child would not be a burden on the US.

Aside from that - Yes I'd vote for you. I'd get my dead relatives to vote for you also. And my parrot too!

*Or the embassy of whatever country they are from.

Amnesty could be granted after they followed the legitimate entry protocols.

I did not want to get into the complete aspect of the idea.

All would have to leave and then enter by the standard protocol. All would be accepted after the legal requirements are fulfilled. After documentation of all of the people, then immigration would be by very strict parameters.

I knew that one would ruffle feathers and have discussed this before in other threads. I feel this to be the only just way to end the problems.

This whole thing about amnesty and immigration is all about removing sovereign borders of countries. You can see it in numerous government documents and by military protocol now. Join the US military, becoming a citizen in that way.

Sovereign borders and people.
