I Was Trippin' People!

Hahaha!
So, I've been told I'm an idiot but here's the proof we've all been looking for!
I headed up to my local beach the other night- got there 'bout 10pmish...
wandered to a nice spot opposite the water, crystal clear night, deserted beach setting, lovely.
Pleased with myself I spread a blanket and sat down to soak up the serenity...
when Lo and Behold! A rather mysterious light seems to float out of the cliff face to my right and hover over the rocks...glowing blue, then white, then orange, it hovers consistently for what seems like aaaages... then zips up and over the cliff and into the bay next door...
only to reemerge and sweep across the sand, slowly heading in my general direction...
Now, I've gotta be honest with ya,
I sh%*t m'self at this point...
I'd convinced myself in what was only a few moments that this was IT!
I was about to officially encounter my first E.T and join the ranks of many...
'It's really real...'
I thought to myself in silent, petrified wonder...
'No use running..'
I began to tell myself...
...as it curved gently to the right... revealing some form of local helicopter doing a training exercise of some sort!!
Gosh I felt like a tool I tell ya! =D

well, no I didn't stick around after that...
it was a bit chilly...
