U.S. Admits Role in February Killing of Afghan Women

KABUL, Afghanistan — After initially denying involvement or any cover-up in the deaths of three Afghan women during a badly bungled American Special Operations assault in February, the American-led military command in Kabul admitted late on Sunday that its forces had, in fact, killed the women during the nighttime raid.

The admission immediately raised questions about what really happened during the Feb. 12 operation — and what falsehoods followed — including a new report that Special Operations forces dug bullets out of the bodies of the women to hide the true nature of their deaths.

Wasn't today the day that Wikileaks would release a video about a cover up on the killing of innocents (in Afghanistan)? Could this be related?

The wikileaks video is in relation to journalists and others being shot by the military. It would be interesting if the government counter produced news and admitted it in advance. We won't know until a few hours from now what the wikileaks video contains.

I think this news is nothing more than yet ANOTHER thing to cover up the various things happening today that the government or whatnot wouldn't want widespread known.

In Norway its confirmed that US and Afghan special forces have killed: A pregnant woman. A young girl. A policeman and his brother.
After the killing the soldiers removed the bullets from the bodies and lied about the incident to their superiors to cover up the event. This incident took place 12 of February.

EDIT to add: A American spokesman insists that the people who were found dead, Had been tied up and been dead for a long time before the special forces attacked. A NATO spokes man now admits that he told a lie to cover up the killings.
