so someone please explain why HARP causes earthquakes? HARP is effecting the air, what is all this about it causing earthquakes? I know it can cause storms and what not. One theory about HARP is that it caused the earthquake in Haiti.... HARP is run by the military, so why in the world would we cause an earthquake with it and then send our military to clean up and spend money that we don't have. Why would we do this to our own country putting us in more debt?? And if we knew that HARP caused earthquakes I am sure we would stop messing with it...

By chance, has anyone reported seeing a 'rainbow' or
something similar (odd sky colors) just before the quake ?

Yes, good thing to point out. This is indeed much more solid than pure numerology...

HAARP killed my father, and raped mother....

but in all seriousness I find it hard to believe the HAARP/earthquake connection. I understand that there is the possibility that the government and operators of this technology could be hiding its true abilities and purpose from us, but given all the brilliant minds in our own community (not just ATS), I have yet to see one qualified individual come up with any way that HAARP would be capable of creating earthquakes...and they have tried. just my .02

This is not "crap", this is me pointing out that you need to put on your critical thinking cap and STOP letting random people on the internet shape your worldview for you. You think you are open-minded and enlightened, but you are the very height of ignorance.

I critiqued your post because what you were essentially saying to people was: "Don't think! Just go watch the video!"

That's silly. My time is valuable. Before I invest 10 minutes into watching a video, I want to hear something that sounds remotely convincing. You offered nothing. and when what you DID offer was questioned as irrelevant or meaningless by the first few posters, you retorted by first claiming we were somehow "ruining the chi energy", and then telling us to turn off our brains and just do what you told us to.

You are not the "messenger", people like you are the very source of this type of nonsense and quackery.

You, sir, are the problem with ATS.

I agree 100% with you.

It seems every time some event happens, you have 2000 people here saying "ITZ HAARRP YER GONNA DIEZ!" Or UFO's did it...

It's funny or interesting the first time, but once you look at the 'evidence' you realize you just wasted 20 mins of your life watching a 20 min video with EVERYTHING was based on either numerology, a blurry video of lights in the sky with spooky music and overlay texts 'telling you' what it is--because without the text, we'd be like 'I don't see anything'. Or a number of other 'house of cards' type posts.

Everyone. Don't believe 90% of the internet. And 99.9999% of UFO sites.
Not saying the OP doesn't believe this, but the truth is, this was simply an earthquake on a KNOWN fault.

What the what?
First, the quake was a 7.2, upgraded from a 6.9 (69 dude! ugh...sorry...couldn't resist.)

How does that prove this is HAARP or HARP. Seems like every single event has something to do with a conspiracy... I saw shooting stars, it is a conspiracy--the aliens are launching meteors to our earth. Come on now guys everything is not a conspiracy, believe it or not somethings actually just happen and they are a normal event.

First, no name calling.

As for 10km?

So what? For every quake at a depth of 10km, there are an equal amount at other depths.

Exactly why do you think Haarp and 10km are linked. Show hard data on the reasons it only hits and activates at 10km...

Curious....

Dude, there was totally an earthquake.
My apartment building was shaking, plus it made the news.
I started a thread about it, with some good geological survey data...but...well...
*ahem*
I'll just re-post the survey data:

rev.seis.sc.edu...

rev.seis.sc.edu...

rev.seis.sc.edu...

rev.seis.sc.edu...

Granted...it doesn't look like much now, but if you go back a little bit, you can see pretty substantial seismic activity.
Oh, did I mention that my apartment building shook?
