What is your greatest FEAR?

Is it eternal damnation? (vertical?)

Is it a broken relationship? (horizontal?)

I have a theory… (hypothesis?)

Well, its more than that…its MY greatest fear…its personal, I guess?

My greatest fear is REGRETS…yes REGRETS….

I’ve lived many many years, and my worst fear is being on my death bed…and having REGRETS…its scares the hell out of me.

For those younger my suspicion it your greatest fear is….

NOT LIVING UP TO YOUR POTENTIAL….thoughts?

What’s your greatest fear?

OT

PS: Here’s some insight from a man who spent 40 freakin years in prison…and his take on our greatest fear…

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

The only Fear I have, is that of Fear itself.

We all die anyway some day, live with no fear.

Great question, not much for me - fear has mostly been medicated out of me by now, but my concern has been chronic pain. The best I can do on fear is to contemplate uncontrolled extreme pain with no recourse or ability to stop it. Pretty much everything else is an abstract intellectual exercise, nothing scary or fearful there.

*Clowns*

To be a bit more philosophical, I would say I fear *Regret* the most.
When my time comes, I want to be able to look back on a life well lived.

I don't want to sound arrogant or anything... but I don't have any big fears. I'm mildly scared of heights, and that's it.

Unfortunately I'm being serious, I just can't deal with them. They always look like they are up to something, plotting my downfall no doubt.

There is one that stalks the area I live that looks ancient. It has an eye missing and is losing most of its fur...but it is deadly! I've seen cats twice its size run in terror from it. I actually cross the road to avoid it
