Following the series of Aussie bloke's comments made by an unknown poster, I found the reference to one of his "events" as occuring in "Grover's Mill, NJ." This is a real place and just happens to been the site of the Mars space craft that crash landed in Orson Wells 1938 radio show of H.G. Welles "War Of the Worlds". Seems like a coincidence ? Yeah...right. Also his predictions of space dust clouds on June 8-9th coincides with the transit of Venus across the sun which will subject earth to the Venus solar wind (dust clouds?). He also mentions an event during 2012. Again this is when Venus will repeat her transit between earth and the sun.

The real question is...What is the point to this posting of the impacts? If true, what could anyone (regular people) do about it? If it is a hoax which I think it is, I actually think it is very well done as far as that goes. I've never seem this much posting about anything.

This has been well publicized, at least to those of us who follow the news in Asia closely. Here's a quote from a securities analyst:

In June [2003] China had foreign currency reserves of $365bn. In order to keep the renminbi stable at about 8.28 to the dollar, China's central bank has to keep buying up surplus dollars and reinvesting them abroad. In practice this means buying US Treasury bonds. China's holdings of US Treasury bonds rose to a record $122.5bn last month, far more than any other country apart from Japan.

China has over 60% of their foreign currency reserves in US dollars, among the bonds mentioned above and keeping billions of US currency on hand. Between China and Japan they hold nearly half of the entire US debt of $1.35 trillion. The bond purchases are what keeps the interest rates low right now, not our sluggish economy. Eventually China will not be able to prop up the US dollar to keep their rate pegged on the RMB. They will have to go to a more market demand system, or peg to the Euro. This will hurt the US and China economies. Having a large M-3 supply might help us ride out this storm as the Fed is probably thinking.

well it is certainly a very well done hoax, and im glad a few people are mad at who ever started this, i got spanked by a poster for saying this was a heinous act, and said if i was that gulible then i deserved it. You have to remember there are allot of peolpe out there who might just think this is fact rather than fiction, and those are the people i feel sorry for. Not everybody on this site is blessed with the self appointed IQ of some who post on this site.

Thats exactly what I mentioned parker feel sorry for those who REALLY believe it, YES something big is going to happen , that I have no doubt about, just not in the way people think!

Perhaps this is only a method of advertising. For example, some respond to attractive women, status and prestige, or frugality/value. If for example, an impending disaster or event were to be expected but for certain reasons just can't be mentioned, what better method to prepare people? We have been barraged with terror threats, disaster films, planet x, son of planet x (comets), etc. It may just be methods to reach different 'markets'. Besisdes, If you don't have plastic, duct tape, food, water, and guns by now you truly are a 'useless eater'

Take this for what it's worth or file it in the round file. But in the not-so-hallowed halls of NSAft,meade there are any number of employees who have within their job classification to read and respond to any website, posting or nebulous chatter. Their job description has a technical title which is unknown to anyone but themselves and their employer; but they have the internal reference name of, 'the monitors'. They constantly review all collected data communications red-flagged by a particular program designed to select communications over the www; a program which is operated by the central computer complex. This has nothing to do with NATSECOM or key words considered to be a NATSEC threat. This has to do with the truth. As I have come to understand it, it is the job of the monitors to collect data, assess the content and if it contains any shred of truth to discredit, misdirect or redirect with disinformation and misinformation.
As we have seen with this particular thread 'the monitors' have successfully discredited and redirected the data. Could it be that if 'the monitors' in this case and the real monitors heretofore mentioned are one in the same, if so, then indeed we all have some dicey days ahead. Isn't it prudent and wise to, rather than just dismissing it as a hoax to just wait and see. We'll all be the wiser to wait and watch since, if it is true, we will only have to wait until the end of June to know for sure. How difficult can it be to post the claim that you were/are the group responsible for any particular thread and claim that you are demonstrating how stupid and gullible people are. Have we heard a word from Dr. Gartrell? Afterall, it is his name and reputation as a scientist on the line here; shouldn't he be one of the first to respond and discredit this himself? Then again, if it was indeed Dr. Grant Gartrell who has posted all of this, letting the cat out of the bag, he has probably already been introduced into the reality of eternal destination by now. A meteor entering our atmosphere is nothing new, in fact it happens frequently, but if anyone notices several "meteorites" crashing anywhere on Earth, then that's worth to consider and investigate, or if astronomers say something is really coming, which is impossible to keep quiet and more than one person would have come up with this information. Not only that but announcing it in a site that is barely known to spread the news? .....

Its a hoax folks, what probably will happen is another terrorist attack.

Nuclear weapons are not going to do Bin Laden a bit of good. He will only succeed in destroying the entire planet and will not be able to spend his $300 million dollars or instill his brand of islam on the rest of the world. In the event the US was nuked, retaliation would be swift and the planet would be hosed as US nukes are ....very bad. Perhaps he's suicidal, in which event I would have to think once again that no amount of money will make a sad man happy.

Its kind of a weird feeling for me. When I first hear of this situation, a couple of weeks ago, I was scared to death! All of the red flags made some sense that something was going to happen. I was relieved when the ‘hoax’ was uncovered, if it really is, hopefully nothing will happen.

I must confess, there was something in me that thought, wow this could be kind of cool to see, as long as it didn’t directly affect me (pretty selfish right) it's kind of like seeing a huge thunderstorm on the horizon and watching it as it builds and waiting to see it's awesome power unleashed.

There is some anxiety I will feel as the dates approach though!
