The man is a wimp. Plain and Simple. Instead of making attempts to ease the tension, he insists on fanning the flames. Better yet, the man needs to learn to just ignore his critics. It comes with the job. Bush got pretty good at that.

This is what happens when you hire a guy with no management/leadership experience in the private sector. He has never had the opportunity to develop a thick skin against criticism. Anyone in a business leadership role can attest to that. You can never be friends with the people you manage.

This game play is getting old and I don't think I can stand 3 more years of cry baby Obama. The critics aren't going away unless Obama makes them disappear and I wouldn't be surprised if he tries. ie. Fairness Doctrine revival...

President Barack Obama said that while he never bought into the overly nice things people said about him after his election, he didn’t think he deserved the ‘vitriol’ he says he’s heard from Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

In an interview with CBS News' Harry Smith Thursday, Obama suggested that the two leading conservative voices on the airwaves were stirring up hatred toward him.

Editor’s Note: See the video below.

"I've been out and about, listening to talk radio," Smith told Obama. "The kindest of terms you're sometimes referred to out in America is a socialist. The worst of which I've heard is called a Nazi. Are you aware of the level of enmity that crosses the airwaves and that people have made part of their daily conversation about you?

"Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's pretty apparent, and it's troublesome," Obama said. "But keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out. It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

Added Obama:

"I didn't buy all the hype, right after inauguration, where everybody was only saying nice things about me. And I don't get too worried when things aren't going as well because I know that over time these things turn."

With statements like this I truly believe that Obama is completely detached from the bitter reality of the truth. I guess that can happen when you ignore the voice of the majority of America. I think he is forgetting that he only took the popular vote to the tune of 52.9%. Yes a slight edge but those voters who crossed lines and put him over the top are now suffering from a serious case of buyers remorse. If the elections were held today he would not win. His true colors have been revealed. He is not the bipartisan leader that he promised to be. He is wielding sledge that is dividing the nation instead.

Obama-
"It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

Really??

It never ends with him. Here he is getting more face time yet again in a network interview and this topic is brought up. Last time I checked we are facing far more important issues around the world right now and poor Obama is still worried about being picked last for the dodge ball team.

Furthermore, he still has a sales job to do. He has to convince/force the nation to swallow the horse pill of Obamacare.

The coming weeks should be very interesting. Tensions are at an all time high right now and there are two major protests planned in the coming days ahead. I anticipate great conflict at the hands of Obama's drones/thugs.

Yes , they should be very interesting . My biggest problem with our current President right now is my impression that he is not a Uniter , but a Divider . I also have not seen him make much of an attempt to quell the fears of his recent policy making decisions to All of the American People as a whole . He seems quite content at the moment with his Democratic Support , but after 8 long years of Mr. Bush's incompetence , the Country now more than ever needs an administration that has all of it's citizens interests in mind as our newly elected President . Will he be up to that task ? Only time will tell .

No way, managers want to be paid to sit and talk. I don't want to have anything to do with a manager. Obama should join an online message forum. He'll develop a thick skin to criticism within a few days. Obama should have spent more time doing front-line labor so he could learn to ignore management entirely and learn how to solve problems fast.

Good point!! I doubt Obama would ever recognize a callous or a blister on his soft hands and he certainly does nut understand the concept of manual labor.
