I thought on the 1st, where's all the jokes in SA? We had had some half-hearted instantly recognizable attempts on radio. Then I heard that commuters in our close-by Khayelitsha township set two train carriages alight and attacked the cops, and I thought that was an April Fools, but nope it turned out that was true.
So thanx, now I can move on - it is tradition after all.
