In politics you have a conservative view (right) and a liberal view (left). In America republican is right, and democrat is left. Those that see through this know that they are one in the same though.

Please let me!!!! In reality there is no differance it is only a game they make us play. United we stand divided we fall. It seems the people that tend to be more conservative see this easier. I dont know why?

This is where left wing and right wing come from. It is the totalitarian/anarchy line.

Both Fascism and Socialism is to the left, Libertarianism and Conservatism is to the right.

The further left you go, the closer to a totalitarian state you get.

The further right you go, the closet to anarchy you get.

As of right now, the Democrats and the Republicans are using a hybrid system of corporatism/fascism and a socialism government.

Where the majority of the US is about right of middle.

That though is about to change. A little gif to show you where we are headed.

Looks like you need a new pictogram. It clearly states "Democrats-socialist" and "Repubs-fascist", then goes on to place fascism to the... left (which you also oddly parrot).

That said, the two major parties in the U.S. have done much to blur the lines over the last 3 decades; so as of now they've basically abandoned their old policy stance differences (on substantive issues such as states rights, fiscal responsibility, and levels of bureaucracy), and chosen to divide the country with hot button morality issues like abortion, "gay" rights, and religion vs. evolution in schools instead.

I've noticed how unbalanced the political views here seem to be. But it's a conspiracy site, i'm sure there are alot of Beck fans, It's to be expected

Let's expose the liberals for the hypocrite shills that they are! Here is a couple of questions for the "liberals"... What percentage of your income did you donate last year to charity? What percentage of your time did you volunteer to charitable causes? How many homeless boarders live in your home?

the problem with CONSERVATIVES is that they're just too dang hypocritical and judgmental.

When I tell my right-wing friends i'm pro-choice, they looked at me as if I've just raped their mother.

Yes, they are stating the new right wing lay out.

But, in the totalitarian-anarchy scale. The socialists and fascist have to go to the left-totalitarian. Because they cannot go towards anarchy.

The FALSE left/right paradigm says that the right are fascist but in the truth, they are not.

But now, they are using the economic scale of right wing and left wing.

Well, I consider myself Conservative (not Republican) and I am pro choice. In fact I have a lot of beliefs that coincide with Liberal points of view, mostly on social issues. When it comes to economical issues though I am very conservative.

There is a lot of discontent in this country that is also being expressed on ATS. But that does not necessarily mean that the posts you are reading are from 'the right.' There are also moderates and even 'the left' that is extremely unhappy with the way things are going.

Don't fall into the partisan trap you are trying to fight against by assuming the position of those that disagree. And certainly don't egg it on by offering contradictory statements:

Of Course there is going to be a dichotomy on ATS. Like every place we go now a days. We have People Whom seem to Think We have the greatest President ever. We also have people who think we have the worst President ever. In my opinion they are doing this on purpose. They want us pitted against each other. If they keep us yelling at each other, then we won't have time to notice them. Do you honestly believe this Government cares about you? No, they don't, and they are told what to do by the Powers, who really don't care about you. Every one always complains about Capitalism. Yes I've always believed that humanity needs to look beyond the tired old right/left divide and all the cliches associated with it. I can just imagine the powers that be and truthmakers sitting back laughing at the way conservatives and liberals tear into each other. Of course then you have the left libertarians and right libertarians doing the same. Then the paleo cons and the neo cons etc.

I think what you're seeing is representative of ALL of reality - the majority of us are conservative - NOT Republican, but conservative. The country was founded on conservative values and that continues for the vast majority of us.

Well to be honest I think most of you are dizic weeds, most of the time.
