I understand what you're saying. I am open-minded and willing to accept my reuters sourced (in the OP) quote as being a misquote by reuters (not me), as presented by other members in the posts above your first one...

As stated in the OP

it sounded crazy to me as well. Would it please you for me to go back and edit that and add "or either this is a misquote" to the OP?

If you want to debunk this thread or also prove I am not a "genuine poster" please concentrate on the other source and quotes...concerning a history of the US and regime change, and this-

Why else would we be having meetings with Them other than supporting a military coup?
