Vatican offers 3 reasons it's not liable for abuse

news.yahoo.com

VATICAN CITY – Dragged deeper than ever into the clerical sex abuse scandal, the Vatican is launching a legal defense that it hopes will shield the pope from a lawsuit in Kentucky seeking to have him answer attorneys' questions under oath.
Court documents obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press show that Vatican lawyers plan to argue that the pope has immunity as head of state

Pretty sad that the Vatican is choosing to hide rather than face this head on . Having said that , I am not surprised .

Time for a bible quote ...

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:15-23)

Yes, we should believe and support the Hitler Youth, pedophile enabler Pope before he An heroes.

The pope will retire soon, err... I mean we will be morning his untimely passing. We know that the Pope can not resign, but well, he is old. I will be a surprise to everyone as he seemed to be in great health the day before.

The Vatican long ago gave up any hope of moral authority. Ignoring their culpability in the world wide pedophile ring that they have become is just one more nail in the coffin. I hope that the police will get involved and begin arresting these criminals and their predatory conspiracy. The Vatican is only good as a tourist attraction and it is time that their reign of ignorance comes to an end.

How right you are and I will say it again

" have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt 7:15-23)

The pedophile rings and Child Protective Services who sell kids to the highest bidder (Yes, they actually do) go very deep in the rabbit hole.

Who do you honestly think buys these kids for sex and pedophile pornography and activities? Very wealthy politicians, businessmen, and religious fanatics.

Don't be surprised if they find out that the Vatican runs the BIGGEST pedophile ring in the entire world, and has done so for many years.

We are talking about some very sick individuals who think they are above law and are Gods.

I'm happy the rank and file members of ATS appreciate the distinction between Roman catholicism (with the Pope as its head and its spiritual centre in the Vatican) --- and Christians generally (who are NO part of Roman catholicism

Protestant/Christian denominations include the Church of England, the Church of Scotland, the Methodist church, the Prestbyterian church, the Quakers, the Lutherans, the Pentacostals, the Baptists, the Mennonites, the Reformed church, the Congretational church, etc.

Protestant Christians fought and died in defiance of the Roman catholic church

Ther term 'catholic', as we all know, means simply, 'global', 'general', 'all inclusive', etc.

Not much I disagree with, All these cases should be handled by civil proceedings. however there will be no reign of terror coming to an end, whilst there is fear, there will be followers.

hi,

Back on topic,
very important news indeed so will s+f to make sure it's seen if you think it has been slipped to the back shelve.
My opinion on this is ; about time too!
If they are worried (seeking legal defence), then the holier than thou attitude the rest of us are treated to by the RC church and it's defendants may soon have no soapbox to stand on.
Does this mean RC believers/participants will start to think for themselves and question the doctrine?
This can only be a good thing.
I do hope so!
Also, absolutely love the bible quote (I am not a christian btw) shall copy and paste in word as it is a timely reminder for someone that I know who is.
cheers

cheers
