I realized something,
after reading ATS for a long time,
and finally deciding to try a few posts.
If the world ended and everyone died except people
who know calculus 4 ... I have to admit. I'd be ok with that.

I of course would also be dead, mind you...Calc4 is something I reckoned I would never need..and in considering a world where only calc4 people existed, I dont think I would like such a doomed world anyhow...cause there would be no women

I don't know. My initial thought was, heck yeah, I'd be cool with that, just give me a few weeks to refresh my memory on that stuff and I'll be ready for the test. I think I would win.
I can make a saddle, a reasonable working harness, read how to tan the leather, have thge tanning drums lying around to eventually use for compost, and have a strong stomach, can convince every beast I have met so far to do it my way from horse hound. I can spin raw wool into yarn, shoot straight, dig a well, plant a garden, can the produce, Plus my pond goldies like me.

What is Calc 4?

Is that an american term? For engineering you only do up to mulitvariable ODE's, stokes & green theoroms, triple integrals etc. etc. and they called it Calculus! man calc 4 must be crazy if there are levels to it and here I was thinking it cant get much harder lol.

Those are the right questions.
If you can work it from a book, then well enough.

As to the _why_ the circumference of an ellipsis is the foundation of calendar tech
and orbital mathematics. The foundation of Keplers discoveries, and that was a long time ago.
