Teen Violence Tomorrows Nightmare?

Yup, I am aware of the whole new "youth violence" perspective but it is only because many people in their twenties have absolutely no confidence nor trust in the future nor various governments operating around the world.

And frankly, who can blame them?

But.. I think we also have to bare in mind since this is an English Language dominated site based very much from the USA with UK contributors, other perspectives too.

Both countries have been repeatedly winning international awards (UNESCO) for having the "most unhappy children in the world". Yup it's true - search google or bbc website for further info.

Which two countries have been heavily involved in wars and killing in Iraq and Afghanistan most recently? Yup the USA backed up by the UK.

Is there a connection here?

I am beginning to concentrate all my energies in Brussels, centre of Europe, for this reason.

Sure there is growing disillusionment amongst young people worldwide but..i have also noticed a desire from many to look to Peace as well as Ecological solutions.

Is either the USA or UK at the forefront of this?
