Was not expecting this news to be made public on this site. This should have been a non topic yet i see it on here. Seems someone will be unemployed within 15mins.

Are you suggesting that cops/security person(s) were supposed to be the only ones with this information, until the crisis was/is over? Because surely outside information of such a thing could make for a hazard.

So then, someone from within the security net had let the cat out of the bag.

Tin foil hats on:

Unless this whole thing was staged to see who would be "loyal" to whomever gave the instructions on to not let it known publicly that communications were down, or who would give that "news" to a media outlet, or put it on the internet.

Of course making whoever made public that "news" in serious trouble, and making the media outlet or internet news/site easily labeled as a "source" of such hazard, and open the doorway to regulations.

Tin foil hats off:

Anyway, interesting news here and with militias worked up over recent government actions, it would make for an interesting story by the PTB's major propagana networks to blame militias for this.

Just a thought but could someone be jamming their repeater system?
Even then they'd have point to point talky communication. However this has happened in a large city near me a few years back where a person was tracked down by the FCC who was running a jamming transmitter to purposely take down their communications using the repeater tower.
Then the guy had his computer confiscated and low and behold he had a bunch of child porn on it.
Sometimes I still question why they even took his computer in the first place when it had nothing to do with him jamming their radios unless he used it as a PTT decoder!?

Like I said just a thought

Anybody want to bet on whether or not this well publicized incident leaving your capital vulnerable will be blamed on... oh... I don't know... evil faceless internet hackers?

Cue the internet crackdown?

My call exactly.
