news.yahoo.com

Oh wow....

Like we didn't already know this... But now there is evidence...

The article goes on

Wright said his firm found "egregious" errors, such as flaws in the meters and the technologies that utilities use to manage data from meters. "Even though these protocols were designed recently, they exhibit security failures we've known about for the past 10 years," Wright said.

He said InGuardians found vulnerabilities in products from all five of the meter makers the firm studied. He would not disclose those manufacturers.

This shows to go, that we haven't learned from our past mistakes.

I am too, but this is worthy of a star and flag. Thanks for posting! In this area of Texas, Oncor has rolled out Smart Meters. As soon as smart meters were installed, those using Oncor saw their electric bill double from one month to the next. There was a huge bru-haha over it.

I guess ATS is interested in fake scary stuff instead of the real scary stuff.

Wait until smart meters become more commonplace around the country. Then the murmuring will begin in earnest.

SOS, I live in Central Texas and it is making huge waves in Temple/Killeen

Here is a link from the local ABC station. I did a search for Oncor and all of the stories related to the Smart Meter are listed on the first page.
