The blast happened at the city's central Lubyanka station, reports quoting security sources said.
Another 10 people have been injured in the blast, the Russian news agency Tass said, quoting the emergencies ministry.

Sad day for Russia, but not new. My guess is it was Chechen related.

For years now, there has been severe tension between Chechnya and Russia, fighting over land and independence.

Thousands of innocent lives have been slaughtered int he conflict.
