Today's News:

Obama's Approval Level Continues Downward in Spite of HC Bill

poll finds Obama’s overall job approval rating dropped to a new low of 43 percent -- and finds by a 54 to 39 percent margin, American voters oppose the new health care law.

Two weeks after President Obama signed the new health care bill, opposition to it remains strong. In addition, the president’s legislative victory did not help his job approval rating, which hit a new low in a Fox News poll released Thursday.

The poll also finds more voters would punish rather than reward incumbents who voted for the health care bill, and that the Democratic
win did nothing to energize the party faithful for the midterms.

But, Obama, not to be rattled by such bad news:

From your FOX NEWS POLL (900 voters) his overall rating is down slightly.

HOWEVER in the categories that count:

Nice way to "cherry-pick" statistics. Biased much?

I've been following Obama's approval ratings for quite some time and they have steadily been going down. 44% last week, 43% this week, nearly all polling sources agree.

If you'd like last weeks ratings I'd be glad to post them here. Nice graphs, etc.

All recent presidents have been able to compromise and work with the opposition for an acceptable bipartisan position for the nation as a whole. Until Obama that is.

This POTUS unfortunately may have an approval of 30 or lower in a year or so.

The poor man was jeered and bood at the baseball opening! When has that ever happened!

www.huffingtonpost.com... Hehe! Could we find something more liberal?

Rasmussen Daily trackin April 9

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 29% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. (see trends).

Today’s Approval Index rating shows that perceptions of the President have changed little since passage of the health care legislation

We may not need to wait 7 years to get into the 20's like Bush, Obama may be there by November at the rate he's going.

Kind sir, you had a FOX NEWS link in your post. I added an additional independent source for this very reason PLUS a video! You inferred no other Presidents were ever booed.

Speaking in absolutes will ALWAYS get you into trouble.

PWND!

Thanks for the current data. It refutes your prior erroneous claim:

I make no argument toward the gradual decline in popularity. However most polls have an average +/- 3% variance, so at this point, its a coin toss. Thanks for correcting your prior assertions with an erudite source. Will monitor closely.
