i am in the aurora aircraft research project and whenever i try posting links after i have typed in a post the link deletes my typing any help would be greatly appreciated

I recommend hand typing the BB code yourself rather than using the automated buttons when editing a post. Many times the buttons will delete all the previous text and insert only the addition.
