This is the biggest quake in this area that i know of recently.

info
earthquake.usgs.gov...

Map
earthquake.usgs.gov...

There was a story about the potential for a large area to get sucked into an underground cavern there. I wonder if something collapsed.

There are a lot of oilfields in the area, and it may have to do with some of that stuff.

Hopefully the carlsbad caverns didn't collapse. That is where I was going to go in case of Solar doom.

It hits home because if it less than 100 miles from where I am. There are never any quakes here, ever.

oh, one last thing

those links didn't say what depth the quake was at.
I'm very curious to know. cuz other threads on ATS
have claimed that most of the recent earthquakes caused
by HAARP was at 6.21 miles (10K). If somebody could
find that info. I'd be grateful. And if it is 6.21 miles
then I wonder why HAARP is targeting Groom Lake
for an Earthquake ???? Could it be A51 got more
black budget funds this yr???? lol
you know about these interdepartmental squabbles

7.30 km (4.54 miles) depth, according to the Real Time RSOE Emergency site.
hisz.rsoe.hu...
CORRECTION: That was for the California earthquake earlier. I didn't see the NM earthquake on there (yet?).
update: 5 km (3.11 miles in depth) for the NM earthquake

Yeah, that quake made me go "WHOA!". Never see a quake there.

This means the Pacific plate isn't done moving.. the pressure is building... its all a matter of when and where. (New Moon coming too)....

Cali may see a big one soon.

I thought that it was pretty far from A51? like over 1500km - thats not 'next to' is it?

Edited to add: not trying to sound rude, just wondering

Between this one and the earthquake near Chicago a few month ago, I'm really worried. Where else are we going to see an earthquake where there is no recent history of one? I live on a hill that is riddled with abandoned silver mines, and now I have to worry about it collapsing?

It is a long ways from area 51.

However, there are a lot of DUMBS around here.

Well, I was right! (na, just lucky guess). not lucky for them though.

A 6.9 in Baja. Wow... All that energy is gonna push more energy up the fault I'm afraid.

And the Moon is full or close AGAIN...

I hope everyone in that area is ok. scary...
