Privatizing US Intelligence

A Department of Defense official allegedly hired former CIA and special operations forces to collect intelligence on targets inside Afghanistan. That intelligence was then passed on to current CIA officials and action was taken against those targets, in some cases lethal action. This goes against government protocol and raises serious questions about how the U.S. is putting together information in Central Asia. Military analyst Joshua Foust joins Alyona to discuss the implications of contracting intelligence gathering inside a war zone.

Privatizing your intelligence assets mean you can work outside
of the law and around rules and regulations to get info and intel.

They just don't get it I believe. This is scary, the minute that our police force gets privatized is the minute I get the f out.

I don't agree with privatized intel, but i hope they were able to take out some bad guys with any information gathered.

Certain things should NEVER be privatized! Things like the military, intelligence, police and fire - NEVER! It is much too problematic on the whole checks and balances thing. Yeah, not a good idea at all!
