Families seek answers after sinking of South Korean warship

www.timesonline.co.uk

SPECIALIST frogmen are to dive to the wreck of a South Korean frigate sunk by a mysterious explosion as the country’s rattled government tries to find out why the vessel was lost.

The 1,200-tonne warship Cheonan went down amid a string of islands in waters bitterly contested by North Korea. But security officials in Seoul, the South Korean capital, said there was no evidence that the North was to blame.

Financial markets shook when the news first reached the United States, which deploys more than 70,000 military personnel plus large air and sea forces to protect South Korea and Japan

There are many possible answers as to what caused the sinking of the ROKS Cheonan, a Pohang-class corvette.

My theory is a WWII Japanese naval mine. Another theory is an ammo magazine / munitions explosion. But the most common theory is a North Korean torpedo.

We have the capability to discern if it was a N. Korean torpedo attack or at best we have the capability to see what happened as viewed by satellite so in that regard it could be a mine and then again it could have been any number of other plausible reasons.

If we know what the true reasons are and have done nothing, it could be so as not to divulge too much capability, but then again there is another reason nothing has happened and why the whole incident is being down played in the media by some and played up by others wishing to use the event as some type of justification for more airport scanners and longer airport lines.

If indeed we already know that a N. Korean torpedo did the deed, Obama could be talking some Obama smoked Turkey with Hop Sing and doing his Chicago gangster dance with N. Korean leadership for someway to get paid for not attacking or calling for his suitcase man with all the codes to the "MISSILES".

This pause in any American action or statement coming forth from our illustrious Hillary Clinton could be what allows N. Korea to just stay quiet and leave the S. Koreans investigating till the cows come home. Which is a long time by the way for those that have never been around cows.

If it can remain unclear as to who is responsible, then Obama the unconstitutional and illegal President of the UN Security Council could do some wheeling and dealing while his Secretary of State looks like she has something to do and which gets her press time which she relishes like a hobo cherishes a ham sandwich.

I can see Hillary milking this one unless Obama has already sent her a fish wrapped with a message which reads "Go along or end up where the fish came from" Capisch?

Anyway, while it's sad that so many lost their lives, now is not the time to make any type of judgment call. When clear evidence is presented that implicates N. Korea, that will be when Obama will pardon N. Korea and Hop Sing for their transgressions against the S.Koreans. Either that or Obama will wave his hand and click his ruby slippers three times and all of us will be back home with our dog recovering from a boomp on da hed.

Thanks for the posting.
