I have been following all of the threads on ATS about the Korean thing,
Saudi Arabia and other talk of war today. However, I have also turned on
the various news stations, and not one single word of any of this. What is
going on? Is it so unimportant that they don't want to discuss it, or is it just
a ploy to keep our minds on more important things like health care, Senator
McCain and Sarah or Misty Croslin and her BS, or Casey Anthony and
movie stars and athletes??

Socialized medicine with no private sector competition will not only deprive the aging White WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War baby-boomer generations of present coverage, but will tremendously reduce the ability of allopathic physicians to immediately redress emergency surgical situations. The medical crisis now in Canada, England and Germany—three historically White Protestant nations—will come to America. Your editor knows of at least three doctors that will cease to practice medicine if the Obamacare/Clintoncare/Kennedycare plan becomes law.

But the 2074-page Health Care Act—backed by the American Jesuit Conference—must fall on its face in light of one key provision: free health care to every Roman Catholic Latino alien invader now within the borders of the Empire. They're downplaying it big-time. I haven't seen anything on the TV about it either. And the print media is saying the S. Korean ship sank due to an "unexplained" explosion.

"The naval patrol vessel sank after an unexplained explosion ripped through its hull, reports say. ...A military spokesman said there was no indication so far that North Korea had been involved in the incident."

Come to think of it, have you heard anything about the Afghan or Iraq war lately? I guess the media's (not so) new strategy is to ignore the facts when innocent people are being killed for oil, drugs, weapons or whatever else turns a quick buck.

The main news items in Australia tend to be about things like nude photo's of some idiot sportsman's girlfriend...for weeks that was the top story every day. The only news we get from any of the conflicts going on around the world is utter propaganda. Stomach churning rubbish about our "brave soldiers"(brainwashed fools) fighting for freedom in Afghanistan.

The Afgan war was on the news the last several days just that can casually remember...bombings, death, planned future battles, more death....you know, that whole usual "good times" vibe.

Sorry for double post--just wanted to say though, there is no 24/7 WAR coverage on right now because our wars have been reported on for the last 8-9 years...no new ones have been officially declared. Hence no gigantic war coverage out of the blue.....

the australian news networks, ABC included, must also be under their influence. up until friday night at least, i have seen nothing on the latest korean escapade or the current incursions by israel into gaza.

They report more on Tiger Wood's sex life than tens of thousands of people getting killed in war.

What did you expect? People WORSHIP celebrities, and that's one of the big problems of society.

Nothing interesting going on in Iraq today just the same old construction and projects going on, well at least in the area that im in. I can't speak for the rest of Iraq but if those other locations are like the one im in now then we just need to pack up and go home already.

They sure gave me a raw deal on my contract, but by next week I shall return stateside perminately.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was just curious as to why none of this
was on any of the MSM. And it did sound to me like the OP of the Korean
deal was indeed something that NK instigated. Usually when a conflict
of any proportion occurs, it is covered fairly soon on TV and then it is
swept under the rug for awhile. And yes, there hasn't been too much on
the news about Iraq OR Afghanistan for quite awhile. I just wish it was all
over and our troops could come home to all of the millions of jobs being
created by Mr. O.

I am sure with the health care bill and Tiger Woods and the next mass
shooting here in the states that the MSM doesn't have time to cover too
much of importance. One of those false flag scenarios to keep our minds
off of things, or to preoccupy us with anything but the real truth?
