Wow, thanks for that total breakdown of YOUR opinion, stated as fact.

Yes, I can tell the way you lean. This country has developed into a hybrid system of corporatism with socialism.

Since you do not think there is any chance of recovery for the US and my possible solution. I guess the discussion is over.

Thanks for the comment.

edit to add- NO WHERE DID I SAY REVOLT. NICE TRY.

Thank you!

I had no idea something like this was even going on. I hope they don't get infiltrated.

They have existed for quite awhile. I must have gotten some bad info from somewhere, so they may have already tried to derail it.

I am going to look into it more now.

I have about 10 friends leaning my way. Moving to a state that we could maybe get this going.

Civilly and with honor is the only way we are going to stop the tyranny.

It has the possibility of turning Fascist, especially due to people of the US being undeniably scared of even the term "Socialism". The United States CAN embrace Socialism (it hasn't yet, so don't go making sarcastic remarks), or it will enter a complete economic downfall and the United States will fall.

3% baby.

Remember that number.

By the polls I look at regularly, a solid 12% of the public is "eyes wide open" to the tyranny unfolding.

That's 4 times the amount that fought off the British tyrants.

About 30% are aware there are major systemic problems with government tyranny.

I'd say about 50% of the public knows what's going on is wrong.

As to the socialist part, the US has fully 100% socialized medical care for the elderly and retirement. The old folks are 100% dependent upon government at this point. The poorest are also 100% dependent upon government. Food stamps, Medicaid, HUD, etc.. etc.. etc.. All homeowners are now 100% dependent upon government. The government has effectively nationalized the entire mortgage market.

The US has a tremendous amount of socialist policy in place. Its what has caused our downfall and will be responsible for the destruction of the dollar.

Its only a matter of time now. The debt burden is a ticking time bomb that will explode soon.

Wow, a hybrid of corporatism and socialism? Is that a joke? The United States is in NO way Socialist. Do you even know what Socialism is? Or did you just take it from your high school textbooks?

The fact that you are an "Anarcho-Capitalist" takes away any sort of credibility.

The US is going into a downfall from Capitalism, not Socialism. The US has very few Socialist programs and policies, it's MUCH more Capitalist. The United States will fall under Capitalism.

Sure it is.

In fact it has 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities owed to socialist programs.

Social security is an entirely socialist program.

Medicare is an entirely socialist program.

Medicaid is an entirely socialist program.

Home Mortgages are now entirely socialist.

Federal Motors is now owned outright by the tax payers.

The Post Office is a socialist institution (completely unnecessary)

The public school system is entirely socialist.

Student loans are now almost entirely socialized.

etc.. etc.. etc..

LOL

Oh by the way, the Federal Reserve is also an entirely socialist institution. The Fed actually sets the interest rates for the entire economy.

That's economic central planning.

It is literally impossible to have capitalism when a central bank plans interest rates and the supply of money.

Last year, the government was responsible for 40% of all US spending.

Funny I recall our financial downfall starting in the 80's, by the IDOL of most fiscal conservatives -

Of course that is just an illusion

Or Reagan was a socialist, or somethin

Very poor list there but I can say that The Post Office is proto-socialist as is social security.

Do you fail to see the massive amounts of privatization in the US? Obviously.

What about public education, the military, the police force, the jail system, the court system, etc.. etc.. etc..

I presume you think those are all capitalist institutions as well.

How is it possible that the US is a capitalist country if 40% of all spending is done by government?

Explain that one to me.

If you really believe the military complex is socialist then you have no apparent knowledge of Socialism.

For God sakes the healthcare reforms that Obama created are for CAPITALIST profit. He even privatized NASA! Bush also privatized just about everything. The statistics or whatever you can even call them are bull and I'm pretty sure you know it.

The United States is NOT socialist, you are just obviously scared of the government just like most other loonies on this site.

Reagan was not a small government conservative, however our debt as a percentage of GDP declined under Reagan.

So, if government isn't funding the military industrial complex, who is?

Are you out there buying up tanks and fighter planes?

I suppose the proper term for the military industrial complex is "fascism" - however its certainly not capitalist.

Capitalism requires free markets with no government intervention.

What can you call Blackwater? Hmm? A government ran socialist mercenary group in several nations of the world whom kill unjustifiably? The United States is not Socialist, nor is it even close. It's closer to Fascism than anything else.

I would call Blackwater a private company that's entirely funded by government.

The act of funding Blackwater I would consider an act of fascism.

Blackwater would not exist in its present form without government.

OKay you two, I said earlier that I should have made the OP fascist/socialist.

I am changing it now.

And this SYSTEM is socialist mostly. The intertwining of corporations and government is their final step to tyranny. Using socialism to control the people and fascism to control the industry.

Tyranny!

Corporations would take control and the US would exist under a fascist corporate controlled country. Blackwater would still have the ability to exist.

Endisnighe, Socialism does not country people. You lack knowledge on the subject obviously.
