I thought former President Bush declared war on Iraq due to the reason of suspecting that Iraq held weapons of mass destruction. However, after many
years of fighting there, no WMD have been found. Doesn't that make the United States wrong in our invasion of that country?
First of all, we fought the Iraq war without Congress' approval. Then we are proven wrong by our own words. Still I haven't a single apology from
the US government concerning this matter to explain why their "intelligence failed".
Even if we did offer an apology, doesn't this mean that we invaded a foreign country based on false pretenses? Basically we killed innocent civilians
because we thought they were a threat. But this "threat" was misplaced. So aren't we like the police officer who shoots down a black man due to
The fact is this: we just killed and are continuing to kill innocent people.
Those who are narrow-minded might say: "Iraq is full of terrorists!"
Based on what? Where's your proof? The brainwashed media of the US?
Assuming that you're right about that, how is one country going to wipe out all terrorism in the world? Terrorism is an ideology, not a physical
thing that can be pinpointed to a single location.
Don't even bring 9/11 into all of this, because FYI that was Afghanistan, not Iraq. Get your facts straight. We defeated Afghanistan due to the 9/11
attack and then we declared war on Iraq due to WMD. When we didn't find any, we continued with our invasion since it "furthered the promotion of
Who says Iraq wanted to become a democracy? A country is like a family. Do any families in your neighborhood manage you family affairs? Come on, the
Iraq war is purely illegal. Anyone with half a brain can see through this propaganda about terrorism.
