Violence over healthcare reform? That's nothing.

Fresh off his health care reform victory, President Barack Obama will quickly move to overturn the DOD's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy prohibiting sodomites from serving openly in the US military. He will also move to grant amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. These are Obama's next two agenda items, as he attempts to fulfill his campaign promise to "remake America."

The gay thing I don't really care about. I figure let the military sort it out. But granting amnesty to some 12 to 14 million people who aren't supposed to be here?

I won't bother with the predictions of what might happen if all those people become legal, effectively telling the rest of Mexico "Yeah, it's cool, just come on right in."

I just read on WND that the Minutemen are dissolving, because things are getting too hot to handle near the border, and they are afraid of the liability when one of their people loses it and shoots someone. They will continue somewhat on a limited, volunteer basis to patrol the border, but with no real affiliation.

The virtual border fence system failed, overrun by delays, over expenditures, and system failures.

I don't know how many thousands of immigrants, both legal and illegal, just descended on Washington, DC in a protest march. Again, I wonder what the Mexican government would do if it was 12 million North Americans demanding amnesty marching up their capitol hill. I suppose we'll never find out because for one, we'd never get there without being escorted by the better part of the US military.

If the indians were good enough to allow the pilgrims to stay, i'm sure we can find it in our hearts to allow the mexicans to stay too.

and gays being allowed in the military is a great thing, about time some real men were allowed to serve their country.

It does seem to be that the goal is orchestrated chaos. That way they can put us on lock-down and bring about order.
A subdued and castrated America seems to be their goal, much like England.
The only problem is the guns. At some point they will need to target the firearms industries and the armed citizenry, which will not be a good thing.
I think restrictions on ammo will be the sneaky way they start to reign in the gun problem, so stock up on ammo big time, and NEVER EVER turn in your weapons. It's our last line of defense.

Funny, about the same thing happened...Indians were initially happy to see us, until we started killing them. We kinda wore out our welcome pretty quick.

Our system cannot support them. But since you're happy to pay, I'll be sure and notify ICE about that...

The gay thing I dont care about. If someone is gay and wants to be in the military I dont care. I give them the utmost respect for doing something I myself could never do, I dont care what their sexual preference is..

Now the illegals well I live in FL and it is BAD here. They are everywhere. I swear I live in Cuba, Puerto Rico or Mexico depending on what city you are in. None of them really speak English and complain we dont speak Spanish. It really irritates me. I cant go to France and act like that. I wish I could live in France but I am not a citizen and its hard to become one. I am not saying all illegals are bad but the majority I run into they feel they have an entitlement to be here yet they still want to make everyone else follow their culture and know their language. If you are going to live in another country you should respect their culture and know the language. If you want to practice your own beliefs then fine just dont complain that others dont want to. If you go down south around Miami, good luck finding people who speak English. The mall in Orlando, almost ALL employees speak Spanish and are very rude to those of us who speak English. I dont care that they are working, good for them but damn it dont get mad at me because you dont speak English in an ENGLISH speaking country.....ok sorry I can go on forever about illegals here. Its bad here and I do NOT agree with letting them stay.

Um seriously? I dont care if they stay as long as they are PRODUCTIVE and sorry but most arent. I see it ALL the time where I live. They can stay if they speak English too, I REFUSE to speak Spanish. When I went to Mexico and the Dominican Republic I made sure I knew some Spanish so I could communicate. They should have to pay taxes and everything else. They have had a free ride here on the tax payers and as a tax payer it pisses me off.

So lets see what we got here:

A homophobe says we can't have gays in the military because _________. The most common reason given is (and i paraphrase) "God Created Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve"

Basically - because other soldiers don't want to feel like sexual objects on the battle field....as if Homosexuals were some kind of sexual tyrannosaurus on a feverish mission to sodomize every living marine.

And that homophobe goes around quoting the constitution (albeit falsely) about this & that, about how democrats are violating the constitution left & right. The hilarious part is, the constitution also says Everyone is created equal....but hey - if you wanna be a homophobe, you HAVE TO disregard that worthless snippet, right (and yes, i know that phrase IS in the DoI, but it's backed up in the Constitution. So while it doesn't say it, verbatim, the way it was written says it all on its own)




Then, on the other hand, we have that same homophobe says we can't have mexicans in this country, because.......welll, they haven't really said why, they just don't want them.

However, they're going to live and work wherever they want to, really. So, why not allow the ones that are here, now, to be here and pay taxes (So they can see that the grass isn't as green as they thought)

Because i mean, hell, if someone from across the border is willing to scoop dog feces out of a yard to earn a living because his own country has no work at all for him, i'm all for it.

Some of my fellow Americans stroke their inflated ego's far too often, and don't take a second to realize that they, personally, don't mean anything in this world. They are as insignificant as they make others feel, and in many cases, even more so.

Puerto Rico is a US territory and has been so since 1898. They are American citizens the same as you or I. Moving from Puerto Rico to the mainland is the same as moving from New York to Florida for example.

Good ol' General Conway!!! Can't say I disagree with him at all. It is exactly the point we discussed in the military several times. It is a bad idea to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell. Keep it intact. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yikes, I haven’t heard that term: “sodomites” since like the dark ages lol. Obviously the person who wrote the article the OP quotes has an agenda of his/her own --- namely to incite hatred/fear against homosexuals and immigrants. (IMHO)

For whatever it is worth, I think it is blatant discrimination to forbid Gays from joining the army and I can’t see what the big deal is all about. It’s 2010!

I also think that the illegal immigrants should be given their fair shot. As hisshadow rightly pointed out our ancestors didn’t ask anyone’s permission before we immigrated to North America. However in light of the economic and social upheaval taking place I can’t help but think this policy is aimed at creating more chaos rather than doing the “right” thing.

The Don't ask/Don't tell policy is the first step for gay people to serve in the military openly and not have to worry about either being discriminated against, and as a means to retain people who are in necessary jobs in the military. But I also believe that it will start to force acceptence on the people when it comes to those who are gay. But there is a lot more work when it comes to people who are gay in the military as they will have to rewrite the UCMJ to allow for such.
Now before I begin on illegal immigration, I would like to state I am for immigration. But illegal immigrants did break the law and companies that use them are no better than those who own slaves. Illegale immigrants are a slave labor force. And they broke the laws of the country to get into the country. The millions of illegale immigrants need to be sent home, and then told when then can come in through the front door, they would be welcomed in with open arms. It is an abhorrent to think that they are going to give millions of people who broke the law a free pass to live here legally, as well as, open up the over burden social system to having more people on its roles. Most illegale aliens do not even support the country, their allegience lies back with their home countries, the main reason why they come here is for monetary reasons. And this would not be a 2 way street, an american can not own property south of the border, and are not treated well when they try. The last time this was done, it brought out alot of people who did not support such a policy. The president of the United States fails to understand that by doing such, he will further divide the country and add more fuel to a fire that needs time to die down.

Since when does the military need to know what sex acts the soliers do in private. Sounds kind of pervy to me.

On the illegal immigrant situation, well they need to buy food, pay rent, pay for gas, electricity etc, so the money they earn is being put back into your economy. Making them pay taxes sounds the right idea.
