In an audiotape released Thursday, Osama bin Laden threatened to kill any captured Americans if the U.S. government executes accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Muhammad.

A U.S. counterterrorism official quickly responded to bin Laden's message, telling ABC News, "It's the height of absurdity for anyone associated with al-Qaeda to even suggest that -- now, at long last -- they're going to start treating captives badly. They may have forgotten Danny Pearl and all the others they've slaughtered, but we haven't."

"If this is Bin Laden and he wants to weigh in on legal proceedings involving 9/11 conspirators, I challenge him to show up in court to make his case," the official added. "Frankly, that's about all the comment this deserves."

Should be interesting to see what happens with this too lol...

I agree. This is a great test to see just how big Obama's balls are and what they're made of. I would tell bin Laden "Then you'd better get busy because KSM is toast."

I wonder if he is mad that the FBI has no evidence linking him to the 911 attacks.

Maybe it is because he denied having any involvement in the 911 attacks just days after the attacks and said that it was orchestrated by elements connected to the u.s agencies.

I can't prove it but, I'm pretty sure Bin Laden is passed-on. I might even go so far as to say he is a scapegoat/subject of hoax. Continuing hoaxes.
Every time I hear his name come up in the MSM, I know it's a lie. He is being used as a fear instigator by TPTB. Somebody please prove me wrong!

Wow this is funny on so many levels. First when they were cutting off heads before with a sword threatening to do it again really holds very little threat.Second i thought being a martyr was the highest form of praise gurranted 40 virgins? I guess that only applies to the uneducated that were stupid enough to blow themselves up believing that lie.Shouldnt Ossama be happy for him being a martyr unless of course he doesnt believe in it?

and gives a statement saying we just got a message
from Bin Laden but THERE IS NO AUDIO TAPE to back
up his claims. Bin Laden couldn't care less what happens
to Mohamed, cuz he wants martyrs for his cause.

And if there is another terror attack on the US, then

More likely it's Mossad and insiders within the US intelligence community and Pentagon perpetrating this hoax.
